It's longevity should be about 3-6 months with proper care.
You don't need to do too much, just keep it moisturised with hair cream ( preferably leave in conditioner) and oil (I use argan oil, but any light weight oil will do). When washing it, it's best to use lukewarm or cold water and never hot water, because that will make the hair straight and lastly do not comb the hair, after applying hair products, just rake your fingers through the hair and it should be fine.

Thank you for this , if I use this for goddess braids and I put the hair in hot water again, will it retain the curls still?

Sorry this reply is coming late, just seeing this. No I don't recommend you put it in hot water, it would revert the hair back to being straight
