Good thorough review Ron💯💪👍 I love using my Status Between 3ANC over everything else I own, including my Senheiser MTW3 (which I do still really enjoy as well) bcuz they really are good solid overall wireless earbuds. Of course the Sound Quality is most important to me personally & the 3ANC as you’re aware of most definitely have great sound quality. I’ll most certainly be ordering another set if for whatever reason something happens to mine. Anyways… again, nice work Ron. Keep doing what you do man💯💪👍

Hey Ron! I take the time to tweak my momemtum 3 with The new sound personnalisation and man, the 3 anc fall to number 2 against momemtum 3! I don’t Know how Sennheiser has done that but wowww!!! Instruments separation is insane, clarity is awesome… honestly, the momemtum 3 come to my Top 1 :) I like them most than my nuratrue pro ! But when i want to train at the gym, i take the 3 anc. The electric guitar with those earbuds is unbelievable!!! Volume is insane, bass is brutal haha so i like them for my Gym workout. But when it comes to sound quality, my momemtum 3 comes to the top for me :)
That update for the Momentum 3s has been a game changer for them. But, IMO, when it comes to overall sound, they just couldn't over take the 3ANCs. They are currently #2 on my top 10 with the NuraTrue Pros and 3ANCs sharing the top spot.

I care only about sound, don't need good anc etc. I listen to pretty much everything, but my favourite genres are for example post rock, post punk, folk, metal, melodic techno, atmospheric dnb. Which of these earbuds would be the best? Do you have any other suggestions?
The next thing I'm going to compare to Pi7 is ATH-TWX9. I've just ordered them. From online reviews it seems they also have good soundstage and detail and more neutral sound signature so theoretically they should be more appealing to me than Pi7 but I'll see about that when they arrive.
@@morespinach9832 I picked ATH TWX9. They have great app, great sound quality for me. In terms of sound they sound bright, they lack a bit of sub-bass compared to other earbuds so if you like very powerful bass you probably won't like these, but they respond quite well to the eq so you can boost bass. They perform great in terms of treble and because of it drums and electric guitars sound really good in metal music and that's what I mainly was looking for as my previous earbuds didn't perform well in this genre. Overall sound is balanced and neutral only treble is slightly boosted. The vocals are forward. Instruments are well separated. I really like the design and build quality. Noise canceling isn't the best on the market but it performs well and I like the option to automatically calibrate to the current level of noise. They are also good for gaming. The latency is barely noticeable on PC and I don't use low latency mode. You can assign every function to button controls however you like. They are very comfortable and the seal is strong. The only downsides I see is that the button controls are responding a bit slowly and the battery life is not good. I've also tried B&W Pi7 S2, B&O Beoplay EX and Final ZE800p. B&W has too much bass for me but it wasn't overtaking the whole music so if the quality of sound was great but software was basically nonexistent and battery life even worse battery than TWX9. Instead of Pi7 S2 you might as well go for wired iems. Beoplay EX mids were weird, vocals sounded unnatural. Liked quality and design but not the sound. Maybe Final ZE8000 sound signature was slightly better for my preferrence than TWX9 with more bass and milder treble because I am used to warm sounding headphones but Audio-Technica app is better and ze8000 stick out of ears a lot. Also Audio-Technica was cheapest of the 4 in my location and shop that was selling it gives additional 1 more year of warranty so I decided to choose them instead of Final.

I just received the 3anc in the mail and they do sound good, however, the sound distorts at high volumes while the anc is on. Why don't reviewers mention this?
I normally don't listen to any of my earbuds at max volume. For the volume level I listen at, there is no distortion when ANC is turned on. I will test that out, though.
My iPhone 📲 must not make the Between 3ANC not sound as good as you guys with the Android phones 📱because the Between the 3ANC are not the best sounding earbuds to me but I also don’t know how to change to LDAC and all that technical stuff does that matter in an iPhone 📱 or is that option only available for Android users?
F**k!! I just spent a lot of money on the az 80, that shit ain't cheap, especially here in Canada, and every bloody video you do on the az 80 vs another earbud, seems that the az 80 lost ever single time. This is my third earbud I ordered off Amazon just in hoping to get a good one with top notch deep bass, but apparently I just can't catch a f***ing break. Just frustrated on how much money I'm spending just to get the right earbud to my liking. I gave up, before I go broke. Just have to live with low crappy earbuds with no bass!!!!
Perhaps you need to train your ear, instead of being baffled that all the high end gear doesn't sound bloated like some Beats or Bose type crap you might have had in the past :) - of course you can also top up the bass settings in AZ80 app.

Another to think about is the Noble FoKus Mystiques. They have really good sound as well.

I dont know man. The 3ANC are the best sounding ones I've heard. I dont think you're having a good seal.

I still have the AZ80s in my rotation. And they get plenty of play time.
