Always good to see you, thank you for the kind words. Happy to see you catch that homer from my post in Section 223! Good luck on the road, hope to see you back at the stadium soon! -Nick
Zack!! All I had to do was tell you to catch a home run and you did it! I was so happy seeing you catch the home run from the big screen in the Great Hall. I hadn’t been in the building for one of your game home runs since that magical playoff game in Boston more than 2.5 years ago and gave me that feeling again that I had then of joy and happiness. It may have felt a bit different since I was working and not actually in the seats to see it, but was glad to see it on a slight delay from the Great Hall. And hey, I got PAID to be in the building when you caught a home. Really glad to be there for another one of your home runs (in a different capacity, though). And I’m so glad I got to see you again after the game which was the only thing I wanted as soon as you caught the home run. I was worried that I wasn’t bringing you good enough luck for the past few seasons, and my godddddd, what is going on lately??!! Following that ALDS game, we had been at the same game (or I worked and was in the building) and you went 13 straight games without a home run (you sat in foul territory for 2) and now 2 home runs for you in the last 4.5 games or so I’ve seen you at (someone got a bit frustrated and was reading a book and left a doubleheader early). Much love as always. Can’t wait for the next video.
Well then tell me to catch more!!! Really glad you were there for it, and it was nice seeing you after the game to make it "official," haha. Even better is that you were paid to be there. Love it!
What did that guy have against Canzone? Good grief, he's hitting .171, isn''t he demoralized enough? Ohio State alum from Cleveland, playing for the Emerald City. Life is good for him, except at Yankee Stadium, apparently.
I hear ya man....catching a visiting team's HR or even letting it roll to you after being tossed into the stands....when the home fans see you have it, you know what to do. I was dancing and when I heard 30000 Texas Rangers fans say "THROW IT BACK"......NOT A CHANCE! Why? Because it was my first HR ball. Hit on April 3rd, 2006 in Arlington, TX. It was hit by Big Papi of the Boston Red Sox, #178 of his 541. As a lifelong Red Sox fan, I could NOT throw it back. I still have the ball, wish I knew to get it authenticated back then. Best thing is, #1 of 54 in 2006 for Big Papi, still a Red Sox record. Very cool of you to recognize your awesome videographer! She does a great job every time!!
That was great home run catch. When I caught a Phillies Home run in Cincinatti which was my first home run, I couldn't help but celebrate jumping up and down.
Awesome vid Z, AND CONGRATS AGAIN! All I had to do was see you catch it on TV to know that it felt EXTREMELY good to finally catch one (I know EXACTLY how that feels), and seeing the happiness on your face afterwards makes it even better! And for those nuts Yanks fans, I can guarantee MOST people who snag a home run aren’t actually going to throw it back. If not meaningful, it’s worth money. I know EVERYONE likes money.
Hi Zack. This is the first time watching your UA-cam channel. I can see your love of MLB. Great Catches and a gentlemen for giving the balls to the kids. I have to catch up on your videos. Take care on your journeys.
I'm a Dodgers and Orioles fan, I have to say it's always a good moment when you catch a home run. It's got to be hard for Yankees fans to know how their team might perform this season, especially after they were blown out by the A's, Dodgers, Orioles, Braves, and Mets.
Great video, Zach! I was a Yankee Season Ticket holder for over 20 years. I get what you are saying about the opposing teams HR ball. I’ll leave it to the Beloved Bleacher Creatures (Bald Vinny, Da Queen Bee, et al) in Section 39 in the old stadium to toss back the round tripper ball from the other team. Getting a souvenir ball in a game is hard to come by, especially for someone who may attend just one game a year.
@@zackhample Yes! My first season with the full package was 1995 just after the labor strike, although I went to tons of Yankees games since my first game in 1974. Best memory: Game One of 1981 World Series when my Dad surprised me with tickets from a friend. Ron Guidry pitched a shut out, Bob Watson hit a big three run home run in first inning that landed just in front of us! Really enjoy your work! 👍
Nice catch. Your trajectory instincts are amazing. Seems like the crowd in the sections were happy for you, even though you didn't throw the ball back. They seemed to enjoy the fake throw too.
I went to a Twins vs. Yankees game in the Bronx back in 2016. I remember the Twins won the game by a large score and they hit a lot of home runs. My dad and I were cheering every time the Twins hit a homer and Yankees fans would give us the stink eye. Thankfully we were sitting in left field and not the bleacher creature section in right field. That was a great day. Wish I could relive it again! 😎⚾️ (P.S.: Yankee Stadium was the 1st out-of-town ballpark I went to, and it was always a dream of mine. And I was actually surprised how nice the Yankees fans were inside and outside of the stadium.)

2.) running into ZH at a game.

Any plans for a dodger game in L.A. this season?
Hopefully at least one this summer. Trying to work out a little SoCal trip.
Cool. Keep us posted on what game so we can see you out there.
I’ve never caught a game homer but I’ve snagged a whole bunch of batting practice balls on the fly.
