You also can't just take some pills and play if you have a significant spinal pathology. Every injury is different and the capabilities of every individual with an injury vary significantly. I can't speak for Ben's situation as I'm not his physician, but as someone who has experienced a spinal injury and has helped others in rehab he should shut his mouth when he doesn't know what he's talking about and keep it to basketball.
