I refurbished a set of bellows, that I had originally made, with new leather coated with silicone sealant. Left it to dry before nailing it back onto the clappers. It has lasted years using this method.
Credit to Alan Burton who showed me that bellows sealing process at the tionol in Sidmouth in February. Glad it worked for you too! It’s a good one. Sealed 3 sets of bellows using that method.
Hey Jason, you always seem to have so much at hand to work with on the various projects you've filmed. Would be great to get a video tour of your studio or workshop, or whatever you call it.
For bags i've always just used seasoning. I don't see why the liquid latex wouldn't work, just a bit more messy but smells better than traditional seasoning!
Thank you, Jason! This is brilliant. The tinwhistle hack -- LOL! Thank you. Your channel is a boon to pipekind
Thanks so much!
Great bit about the foam! Thanks for another great video.
I got it from Andy May, incredible stuff!
Wow, would never have thought of the liquid latex fix! Thanks for sharing. 👍
It’s crazy good!

Haha I’ll see!
Great video. Thanks a bunch. Nerding out and love it.
That outlet tube reminds me a bit of the siphon of a geoduck clam.
Hah I had to google that. I dont think we get those in Ireland
Great T Shirts! I love the Metallica style rip off. 👍
Available on uilleannpipesprints.etsy.com 😉 with new lines added regularly 🤘
@@sionrouse Are you the Mastermind behind this? Great work!
Thanks! I started making them for myself and then folks wanted them too which is super cool :)
Hi Jason
Great video- thanks. Could you use the same technique for an old leather bag?
Good to see you at Ferryside.
Regards
Tony

Amazing video, including the shocking use of a whistle…..
Hope it adds some extra musical mojo to the bellows!
