- This bottle was a gift for someone for Christmas . My client wanted a few bottles made as gifts . This also makes a great birthday gift or nice to have as décor in your home.
For this project you will need glitter any color of your choice, a clean bottle of liquor or wine, sponge craft brush & mod podge glue. After sealing the glitter let the bottle dry in front of fan or at least 24 hours .

I use extra hold hairspray in the pink bottle, from dollar tree, on all of my glitter projects. And it works very well to set the glitter & also keeps it sparkling. In my experience, sealing with Mod Podge makes it dull
so do you originally use mod podge then spray hairspray after??

@@yao8069 i think they use pod podge to add the glitter but then spray hairspray to seal it after the glitter has dried instead of pod podge , I do assume pod podge would hold it better and for a longer time, but it does make it a bit dull

Wonderful job, the trick it when it's dry completely after last seal..... You gotta sand it down with a wet sander... Instructions on the back of mogpodge

I saw you used the Mod Podge spray for a sealant on your other video. That seemed easier to seal it. Which gave you the better LOOK after the seal?
Yea lately I'm giving the spray a 2nd chance. I'd say the spray does give a better look. The glue makes it look a little thick & slightly dull but it's completely sealed and no glitter at all falls off.
@@LifeIsAWholeVibe hmmm I hate when glitter just falls off my xmas cards so I may have to give this a second thought. I'm going to try and make one for a bday gift for my nephew. It seems like you can never clean up all glitter stays around forever.

Would this work on a thick plastic bottle? For example a plastic coke bottle? I got a large margarita mix bottle that I wanted to give as a present but I'm afraid it would come off.
I think it should work. I just saw this comment. I put glitter on a plastic Pepsi bottle & it worked out ok.
I subscribed to your channel about two weeks and wrote you. I did buy the glue and little bottles you recommended from Amazon. The tweezers and glue has arrived. The small bottles for the glue will arrive Thursday. Now my next question is what type of beads should I start with and what is that gold glitter. I know what you mean about glitter. I make Christmas wreaths and has glitter over my place, face, hair, etc. Lol.
Thank you. When you say beads I assume you mean rhinestones. What type of projects will you be working on? I suggest you start with a 5mm Rhinestone.

Can I seal this with epoxy resin?
Yes. I haven't tried it yet though.
How long do they take to fully dry ?
At least a day to fully dry. If in hurry in a few hours in front of fan.
Do you apply another layer of glitter after the cup mix?
No I just let it dry.
How long do you let it dry for before adding 2nd coat?
At least 20-30 minutes
