National (Panasonic) Video Camera Ad

A vintage Australian ad (early '80s?) for a National Video Camera featuring Peter Allen. Wow, so portable! Just be prepared for shoulder strain from lugging around the massive porta-pack. Vision dubbed from Beta recording!

That was one of the funnest few days of my life. We shot this at the Gold Coast, stayed at Brendan Edwards Club, Peter was doing shows at night at the Greenmount Resort and we models went along. We partied with Pete after each night. Shoots were early calls to get the lighting. Nothing fake back in those days. I’m in the red striped top. Rest In Peace Peter x
