@@rykage149this is a pretty long comment, but u asked for it so I shall deliver. for his base, you could use different percentages of one for all with different drawbacks (like maybe longer cool downs and slower start-ups for more power). Getting rid of one of his combo extenders for this could prevent him from just being another combo character (a playstyle that doesn't really fit deku as well as it could). It could be like a move attached to a bar on your screen that u can charge for a limited time or something. He could also have like 1-2 unique cut-scenes if you use two of his moves in a row, dealing extra damage but knocking back. With these two pretty simple changes he's already a way cooler character that can mix up opponents by choosing how strong/fast his moves could be or what move combinations he might perform. Instead of long m1 string combos he does quick burst combos, so he still kinda has combos but u get what I mean. It just makes him feel more like deku. His awakening also suffers from just turning him into a combo character, and the "different one for all percents" thing doesn't really work here, so you could just try to make him more dynamic, focused more on rushing opponents with moves instead of fishing for combos. You could make his normal barrage (the one that goes into the air) deal way more damage than the other version and have a bigger hitbox but knock back. You could make his rush a move where you're covered in blue energy and can perform attacks like that spinning kick he did against Nine (from the second movie) or just a regular strong punch. I don't really know why they added black whip to his kit if they were only going to use it for one move, so I'd either use it more in his base and mode or just get rid of it (you can keep the kick combo he does). You might not like all of my choices, u might think him being a combo character is a good thing and his play style could and should stay the same, but I came up with most of these ideas in like 10 minutes while typing this up (I had the one for all percentage charge thing already in mind) so it just goes to show u can do more with him.
