Other way around really. They were removed due to them taking away from the action too much especially with how much more repetitive it is. They’ve also been sped up. I’m sure you could make an argument about it being less “immersive” now but we had to do what we had to do to compliment the gameplay

What i see is goku from the namek saga so we will get more versions i hope dark hero deku will come soon i like it you can easily get blackwhip as some kind of counter pulling youre opponent towards you I hope they put a tutorial for each character into it and you can choose each characters moveset to learn I hope of course for a tournament mode and a mobile version of it because if it does i finally have something to play

my one nitpick is that they gave itadori sukuna world cutting slash (i’m assuming this because he chants but if it’s just a strong dismantle then sorry for the confusion) you wouldn’t give namek goku dragon fist, or pts naruto KSM mode, so why give itadori sukuna world cutting slash a move he didn’t have at that time?
This looks cool, animation is nice, interface is decent, and yeah, Looks great but the big question is, How fun will it be? Because yeah, you have these nice animation but the moment you update the game, Yo game is already starving, Out all anime fighting arena, ABA is still the champion of these type of games, Why? Because of well timed updates, even if aba is a unbalanced game, Not good graphics, And Clown Devs, they still making them money, Anime showdown dead for late updates, AU:R Dead for the same reason as anime showdown, Heaven's arena is basically Get hit once and get in a cutscene, And many more. This is my honest opinion
I think their combat will be the same as their old project "troublesome battleground 2" Troublesome battleground 2 was peak game until they stop updating it
Just a tip, keep the combat simple. There’s no need for perfect blocks, or built in evasions. If you want to discourage TODs, I’d suggest giving each character only 1-2 combo extenders. Complexity is partially the reason why other games that are similar to ABA end up dying
