I love these simple to sew coasters. I’ve made plans right this minute to make these for Christmas stocking stuffers and gifts for friends. I have tons of scrap materials that I can utilize for this project. Thank you for sharing your talent!
Thank-you for the great tutorial. Your coasters are so beautiful,I want to make some but I couldn't find some I liked.I love the quilting on yours,So easy but when finished it looks amazing. They would brighten up any kitchen as well💕
I just recently found your channel while searching for inspiration when I needed to work on my new sewing room. Your content is so calming, inspiring and pure bliss to watch. Lovely project! :) I’ll make them for this Christmas.
A friend of mine gave me a set of those for Christmas that she made and I thought it was so cute and I looked for the pattern I am so glad that I found it and that you and I will subscribe to your station I know the quilting and handicap so I don’t get out much but I do love your your outfit
in trying to organise all my fabric ive found myself just making tonnes of small crafts out of my scraps, because there are so many and i dont have space to store them, but i dont want to throw them out. I dont own any wadding or batting, however ive read that you can repurpose old fleece and use that instead? i have tonnes of old fleece pjs that i didnt want to throw away (im a hoarder haha), so i might use those instead, Thanks for the tutorial! 💖
Very nice & quick to make. I have never quilted but now I would love to start and this tutorial is ideal for me. I have one question if you could help me with, what is the difference between batting and wading? Thank you so much.
What is "wadding"? My Granny used that term when she taught me to quilt. I didn't learn the word" batting" until later. I never thought to ask her what the difference was.
Very nice! I’m making 6 coasters today. Thank you for the inspiration. May I know what model is your Brother sewing machine? I have the Brother XR1355. I’m a novice sewer but retired now, so maybe machine and I will be best friends. I ‘liked’ and subscribed to your very nice channel. Take care.
@@TheDressmakersCloset thanks as new to this wasn’t sure if best to just do the one side. Guess you could do then both at the same time infact. Thanks again for tip.
Hi Jayne . What great Ideas, I was just wondering if you could tell me what size you made on the peppermint wide leg trouser. Did you have to shorten or lengthen. Sorry I know it’s not about this video .. thanks Geraldine

Very nice & quick to make. I have never quilted but now I would love to start and this tutorial is ideal for me.
I have one question if you could help me with, what is the difference between batting and wading? Thank you so much.
Batting is usually made from cotton where wadding is usually man made fibre xxx
I like the quilting method! Do you prewash your fabric? I assume these would be washable?
Yes and yes
What is "wadding"? My Granny used that term when she taught me to quilt. I didn't learn the word" batting" until later. I never thought to ask her what the difference was.
Wadding is man made where batting is usually cotton both used for quilting x
Some rather peculiar comments above mine, where do these people come from! However, love these and love your blouse and sweater together! Julia

It’s the A150 xx
Excelente.👍👍
Thanks
PS I don't mean the comments from Christina, Lynne or Alyson!
Could you quilt both sides .. so pretty thank you. Guess they would be fine to wash even.
Yes both sides is even better … it would be really quilted and lovely ☺️ xx

Your pressing mat where did you get it? I really like the size you have
I made it with some MDF and batting xx
Where did you buy your floral bins?
They’re from ikea but I’m not sure they sell the floral design anymore xx

Hi. What is the purpose of stitching multiple lines at 4:00?
To give a quilted effect xx
What Brother innovis do you have? Thanks
I have the A150 x
👏❤
Why dont you just return in the opposite direction to save thread or go on to the next coaster?
Great idea thank you x
Made a stack. Not as neat as yours but used a lot of scrap
Well done Linda xx
Obviously
Ok
Why didn’t you sew them together turn and then do the quilting ?
That's what I was thinking, cause if she did it that way, then it would all be packed together nicely. But either way its beautiful!
Mabye it would be too thick?
Talk to fast
Ok 👍🏻
