*I love how hands on Joe Fox is with the kids. My favorite part of the scene is when the children go see the “storybook lady.” I love how Joe loses the hammer just to get a laugh out of the kids.* 💞💞
Fall time in NY just seems so perfect. One of my favorite movies and scene of them having fun. As well as the part where story book lady is reading to the kids. When I first saw this movie, I was like...that's what I want to do. She has the perfect job and business.
Well NY used to have Giuliani and Bloomberg which were leftwing Republicans and border Democrats during that time That`s why things generally worked. But even New Yorkers regardless of politics have become very horrible people today. At least from my experience. I`ve seen crowds cheering as people were bullied on ice skating rings and security turning a blind eye as people were beaten on the ground in front of their door. I`d never live there. It sucks.
I am the youngest of five children (the eldest two are my brothers and then I have two sisters after them) and there's a good gap between us (my brothers are 14 and 11 years older than me and my sisters are 9 and 7 years older). This scene reminds me so much of many of the dynamics I had growing up as I had siblings that were grown and out of the house by the time I started kindergarten. I love the way he says they are a family, it's just great.
This scene brings back childhood nostalgia, like the "Ain't no mountain high enough" scene in Stepmom or Shania Twain or Faith Hill in general🤣👌...my mom had the majority of the custody *clears throat*
Here I am October 2023! Woody crashes Anya’s story time with the children of Manhattan! I find it funny how the kids pretend to be Joe’s aunt and uncle!
Hi! I watched the movie many times, she only goes there one time, when she helps a lady with the "shoes books" here's the clip ua-cam.com/video/ps2CGU-JZw0/v-deo.html
My NY Neighborhood used to look like that! Now there are Block parties where Goats are butchered in the street and their blood drained into the sewer, Then they Light a Huge Bon fire in the middle of the street to cook the Goat! No Im from a small village in Hungary so this is normal (IN YOU OWN BACK YARD)!
Oh so if he has money he's not human? He didn't know about the fucking handwritten by blind nuns bit about a children's book (who the fuck hand tips a book meant to be handled by children, way to instill love for reading :don't touch the book, it's hand tipped! ) and he felt like extra spoon of fucking caviar at an event where it's gonna go to waste anyway (caviar really is an acquired taste) . Moron!!
Sleepless in Seattle is from 1993, You've got mail is from 1998. The kid that plays Matt was born in 1993 his name is Jeffrey Scaperrotta. Jonah was played by Ross Malinger.
how weird would it be to have an aunt and brother just a few years apart. And you are in your 30s. I have a three step sister 16, 12 and 13 I still feel old at 21
It's common on one side of my family. My grandma had one of my aunts when she was young so they were more like sisters so my aunt is way older than her siblings. A few of my cousins are older than a couple of my aunts and their kids are the same age-ish. My oldest cousin is like 45 and my youngest is 3 on that side of my family with many cousins and second cousins in between. So we have a lot of generational overlap. Also my best friend's nieces and nephews are all older than her. They were married with kids when while we were still in high school
He is Just so good with Kids, this scene is adorable
What can we say, Tom Hanks is great with kids, he's also a great actor and has a great sense of humour, luv u Tom 💕💖
Let's share credit with screenplay writer, director, the kids' acting coaches, and the kids.
No wonder he was cast as Woody

Shows how much Joe pays attention.
He shows up later with a bunch of Daisies...

New York during this season is amazing
My parents always said we would go there in the fall
I remember this movie and this is one of my favorite Tom Hanks movies.
My favorite Tom Hanks movie will always be Toy Story
A favorite scene from a great movie. Music, message, story, actors, children, family.

Mat's laughter gets me at heart every single time!! Loves it
Me too
My heart is filled with so Much Joy!!! Rockin' Robin x3
I do wish NYC could come back the old time like this movie... without Cumo, without Virus and violence.... I love NYC.....
Is this an actual carnival during autumn? What's it called

Without the searing melancholy, fear, rage and despair brought by 9/11
And I wish the whole world wasn’t filled with violence

My book, To Market To Market, shown in the window at 1:29. I've watched this movie a hundred times and just saw it last night. How cool is that?
I like the movie OK but this scene is one of my favorites. I don't know why. It's just so sweet and endearing.

there will never be another norah ephron rip legend
That is why I’m torn between Sleepless in Seattle, You’ve Got Mail and When Harry Met Sally
If you haven't already, and even if you had, Norah recorded all of her audiobooks herself. They're ... Amazing

*I would love to hear Gillian say, “I’m having MY EGGS HARVESTED!!” One of the best one-liners ever!! I LOVE 💖💞 A QUICK WIT!!*
Ahhhhhh! I never realized that this movie referenced Betsy, Tacy, and Tib! I loved the early books when I was a kid!

This is my favorite scene of all time especially when Joe spends time with the kids
In this movie, I remembered that Meg Ryan was reading from a Roald Dahl book to everyone.
"Noo!" xD my favorite moment from the movie lol thanks for uploading!

I love the movie because it has some funny parts in it especially this part I like the song was right for this part
There was also a scene with Meg reading a storybook to children in the Fox superstore, but I can't find it anywhere.

I'm just wondering why she's reading Roald Dahl's autobiography "Boy". A book that's 464 pages long and not really meant for very young children.
No.

he's is a millonare yet he haggles over the price of a book. that and the caviar scene make me wonder. what kind of manners does he have?
He is selling a book. he just wondering why ot cost so much. not the "worth"
"what kind of manners does he have?" The answer is none. He'd never had to have any.
he's not haggling, he's doing research.
That's why he's a millionaire.

Grandfather conceived a child with a much younger woman. In the scenes they have together he seems like a good father or at least a decent one.
My grandma had nieces and nephews older than her but they were best friends growing up
I have a brother who's 22 years younger. Every time we went out people thought he was my son and my mother his grandma 😂
