Of course we are interested :)
definitely! it's on my list of videos 😄😄
Can you do a video about post production of the renders? Mine always look grainy.
+Keerthi Balakrishnan ah, if yours look grainy, you'd have to fix it before you render, it's better that way.😄 so there might be a couple reasons like not enough lighting, or your noise settings is not right. You can always add a denoiser render element to help reduce the noise as well. 😊
another great tutorial thanks a lot , ps: i really like the new video editing style cleannnnnnnn well done bro
+Khatib Djamel oh man I appreciate that! Doing more and more videos really help me improve my editing 😄😄 plus I want to make it clean for you guys , that way it's easier to follow 😊😊

Thanks!
You're very welcome!
amazing job very detailed I love to solve everything inside sketchup great video its amazing how much you cover in such little time this are the most dynamic tutorials out there can you compare highlight burn correction option from the frame buffer to this method?
yess the highlight burn correction option works as well! However, I wanted to show the way of fixing the actual lighting in vray lighting settings before the render. Fixing it in Vray frame buffer is easy, but not a lot of people know how to create sufficient lighting before rendering hence this method 😄😄 You can definitely render it a little brighter or darker and then fix it with frame buffer correction controls. I showed that in my previous video, I just wanted to show something new that's all 😄 But either way works!
verynice thanks
you're super welcome!!😄
you´re great
+Angel Saavedra thank you! 😄😄
WOW!
😄😄😄
Hướng dẫn hay quá, cảm ơn anh.
Không có chi nè 😄😄
Adipoli

You're very very welcome 😄
Seriousky your videos are one of the best available on youtube,, really helpfull,,, please do make a video on how to perfectly choose to which side we should put lights in interior rendering scenes
+Dildar Singh thank you so much! 😄😄
Gotcha, are you looking for a night time interior rendering where there are lots of lights?
+Dildar Singh thank you so much! 😄😄
Gotcha, are you looking for a night time interior rendering where there are lots of lights?
Architecture Inspirations - not exactly night time rendering but a space where sunlight is not approaching,,, but still i really appreciate the work you are doing,,, u got the best teaching techniques and those are quick and best,,, hope u ll keep making videos like this and ll share your knowledge with the world
+Dildar Singh so you do want the sun to reach the model but it doesn't? Or you DON'T want the sun to reach the model and trying to figure out a way to light it up ?
Thank you so much!! I'll definitely keep going 😄
Architecture Inspirations - yes u r right a place where sunlight cant reach and we have to lighten up the space with artificial ligtting only,,, for example u can consider an office with just artificial lightning,, dat wud b really helpfull if u ll make a video on this topic
Thấy video mới ra của bạn là mừng quá, phải vô xem luôn. Bạn làm thêm clip về các tip chọn góc đặt cam sao cho bố cục đẹp nữa bạn nhé, Send hearts from Vietnam to you.
+hoangyen nguyen thanks bạn nhiều nha😄😄 mình sẽ luôn làm video mới lúc rãnh 😉😉
Incredibly helpful...PLEASE can you make a video on IES lighting??
Sure! What do you need to know about it?
I would glad to see some advanced v-ray options like other methods of generating structure of materials than bitmaps, short movie about swarm because for me it sometimes just doesn't work as it should, deferences beetwen types of sky model, engines of GI (irradiance map, brute force etc.). I offen have a common problem with hdri - materials reflect all surounding and as a resault are greenish or blueish (depends what they are reflecting - grass or sky). Thank you for this and every other movie. You do a great job! For me its a best tutorial channel on youtube for V-Ray for Sketchup! Good luck!
+kpisanski that's a good list! I'll work on those 😄
First of all, when you looking at the video timer and see it's 5 Minutes compared to the lesson material
you will think, this is not good because this minutes is not Enough, but in ten seconds you got me..:) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :)
:) good job really it's best 5 minutes and useful 2
+ehabfatah oh man thats a huge compliment! Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment 😄😄😄😄
tuyệt vời! thanks!
thanks bạn nhiều nha!! 😄
Nice video, could you pls do another for exteriors like landscapes or gardens? There are plenty of exterior tutorials, but only facades...
+Aecutu Macuivo ooh gotcha! Good idea, I'll add it to my list of videos to make 😄😄😄
Hi, really love this whole collection, perfect balance knowledge/speed. I had a question which might be useful for a video. I'm trying to use vray/sketchup to do a photoshoot for our products. What I am trying to work out is how to have one model, which I can paste a piece of furniture into and be able to batch render 3 shots or different angles and two different scenes, a white studio background and say a warehouse setting.
+Louis Eastman ah so you're looking for a studio lighting setup of sort right?
Hey, this video is very interesting. Can you do some video about section rendering?
Cool! I'll put it on my list 😄
I love your tutorials it's very beneficial I hope you will get more followers. I'm an Interior architect and areas that I design mostly don't have windows so I'm suffering with lighting. Can you please explain light settings detaily? Also material details would be great. Thanks again for your videos
+Mus Mar gotcha! One question, what kind of light do you use the most in your model? 😄 ies? Rectangle?
Architecture Inspirations mostly I'm using rectangle light but at the end I have to put even front of my seen even I can't see the view everywhere becomes rectangle light. Specially shelves or dark materials are loosing their identity when I put sphere light it's so clear in that area even if it's invisible.
+Mus Mar hm gotcha. You should definitely send me some pictures of your rendering through my Facebook page. That way I'll have a better understanding of your issues.😄
Can you please make one video on how to render Interior scene with no natural light at all and still achieve that realistic effect ? , actually I have lots of office project going on and many of them don't have direct window so in that case what should I do ?
gotcha! Yeah I'll that on the list of videos I'm going to make 😄
someone who shares my sentiments heheh..great tutorial by the way!looking forward to more!keep it up!
Do you have sketchup tutorial short term?
I have a question...how could you check for the two renders at the same time..I wanted to know that
Nice tips, thanks!
How do you deal with frosted glass? When I need to put it in a scene I have to deal with insane render times to get half way decent quality. Any tips?
hm really, how do you setup frosted glass. do you use the material that's in vray materials library?
Generally I use presets if I don't' have time to tweak them myself. There has been a few times where I just render it clear and "frost" it in post due to deadlines.
I was just wondering if you had a faster shader or technique.
+Mark G hm and the presets you use is in vray materials library right? Frosted glass renders pretty fast for me. Are you sure it's not the model? I don't really adjust much of vray basic materials besides changing color and stuff. They are pretty well optimised already
Well, yeah the model has a lot to do with it. I'm rendering full office interiors with dozens of cubicles and lights, glass walls, furniture, not to mention they are 5k renders. :D
I wish I could do a bedroom or other residential interiors...
+Mark G ohh no wonder it takes forever 😂😂 yeah man it's definitely not just the frosted glass
i use vray 2.0, can i do the same setting it?, thank a lot you buddy
Hm I believe there are ways to make it work in 2.0, the concept should be similar😄
Great tutorial! I have a question: I'm creating a scene where direct sunlight would first hit a metallic panel and get reflected onto an adjacent wall, lighting up that wall. Thus, it is like using a mirror to redirect sunlight onto a surface. However, in my render there is no reflected light on the wall, just the normal diffused light throughout the surfaces; it's as if the metal has no reflectance despite looking like a mirror. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Much thanks.
Hi! Can you send me a photo via my Facebook page? Also questions like this are useful to post on our forum architecture.club so we can all help you 😊
Hmm, can't open the forum page, there's an error. I'll prepare a photo in the meantime. Thank you!
Whoops wrong link 😂😂 archinspirations.club
I bought a file today and it works.
The light doesn't work.
V-RAY is the latest version
No "Render Elements" option.
i dont get it. if you leave shutter speed on 300 you dont have to change intensity multiplayer for overburn. so why you did that?
Is vray 3.4 available on sketchup 2015? TIA
+john guzmani yes it is!
Hay qué ^^
Thanks bạn nhiều nha 😄😊
I want to learn how to make vray material 3.4.
Hello bạn! bạn coi video Create Realistic Materials của mình chưa 😄 Hay ý bạn là làm thêm video tạo materials từ trong vray? 😄
Architecture Inspirations yes
+Truong Phamvan okay will do!😄
Architecture Inspirations thank
How to set render elements in vary next ...??
It's right next to the settings button in the asset editor
Thank u so much😊
Your vedios are amazing and very inspiring
Thank you Naveen!
vray 3.6 pleasee :D
I'm definitely doing that soon!
thanxxx :D love your videos
hello im nonny from indonesia
i really like how you explain and i also like all your model
i wish i can make one just like yours
but can you do a favor ?
:)
it is can you make a tutor video about getting "ready in sketchup" like all the things you know and then make 3d model, giving it material, texture, vray edit and finally render it.
maybe you can do spare video like day 1-2-3 and etc..
thanks!
thanks nonny! I do have other videos that I break down the whole process of doing a rendering in sketchup vray from start to finish, so check them out of you haven't yet 😄I will be posting shorter videos on materials and modeling as well. If you can, let me know a specific topic and I'll put it on the list! 😄😄😄
hello thanks for replying back!
i do watch all your videos already from the very first untill the last one. what i want to know is when you search for inspiration on internet and then you get one, you decide to make it as sketchup model and render it but the picture was complicated and the design is a bit hard for you to make but you really wanted that design to be in your sketchup model. what you gonna do? heheh *based on true story of mine*
like you know.... a chair that has a complicated carve.
thats all for today :)
+nonny eva ah I gotcha! I'm actually not a pro at modeling complicated objects in Sketchup 😂 so most of the time I just download models for the 3dwarehouse 😊
oh i see.. i just impress by the one video that you showed us : living room with christmast tree.. and you changed the star above the tree. its a good idea tho :)!
+nonny eva oh thank you so much! 😄
Ho did you model and apply materials to the mattress/pillows/blankets?
Hi Aaron! I used this Plugin called sketchup UV and export UV to a free software called Roadkill to map the UV and reload it. Should I do a video on this? 😄😄
Please. That would be really helpful. Thank you.
I bought the file and the way you split the bed into the parts with different sections depending on the fabric was interesting.
First, thanks for buying the model Aaron! and the bed was a model I got on 3dwarehouse, it was modeled that way for some reason. I guess the one who modeled the bed wanted to remove unnecessary parts to make the model "lighter" As for the materials, I did apply those and use my own 😄 it did take sometimes to create correctly apply those materials, maybe I'll do a video on how to do a fabric material with a pattern just like the white pillow in the video 😄😄
Oh ok. That would be awesome. Would that same process be used for the blankets?
I'm the one that just commented, after asking how to make shadows less sharp with spotlights I realised that there is an option size multiplier in the sun cause you can't grab the sun and scale it up
So I assumed I can scale up the spotlights to make it better and it actually improved.
So I deleted my comment cause I felt stupid hahhah
Then I saw that I got a reply 😭😭😂
Reply again pleaaaase I didn't get to read the reply on my first comment
Haha no problem! Glad I could help!
❤😄
where can i find the default tray ?
Hi there! it should be in "window-Default tray -show tray
Thank you for replying :).
+NoobGamer Tr you bet😉
3.4 ? There is 3.6 already with a lot of changes ;).
+Patryk Grzyb I know 😉I started this video before 3.6 came out. Will work on 3.6 videos soon😊
Anyway thumbs up for good quality video , I'm using vray for three years now and I notice you will get better results if you give ligth on the ceiling not wall.
+Patryk Grzyb in my previous video I used it on the ceiling 😊 this time I do it at a different angle. Thanks for the tip though 😉
