This does not make sense... The story... I can understand the first Silent Hill where he's looking for his daughter. The second Silent Hill he's looking for his wife. The 4th Silent Hill makes more sense then this one as he's trying to get out of the room. Why in the love of God is this girl going to these places and doing whatever she is doing? It's like: "Oooh I am lost. There's a bathtub. Let's fill it up with water as it will clearly help me with my way home. In the meantime I can wash myself with this thick red liquid I find everywhere which looks like blood but I don't know what it is."
man... if you played SH1 and you got the Good+ ending, you'd know that the baby that Alessa hands to Harry is Heather (the protagonist of this game) 17 years older... this can be considered a sequel to the first silent hill game. the cult of The Dark Order hires Douglas to find Heather. Claudia (the woman in black dress we saw in the first stage of the mall, before entering into the elevator to the other world) hires him, telling him that Heather was kidnaped by Harry Mason long ago, and she wants her to accomplish what they tried 17 years before... wake up Samael (the demon called God by the dark order cult) and fuck up the world. TL;DR: this is a sequel to the first silent hill, 17 years later.
The Noob I think what he or she means is that some of the things you do to progress in the game does not appear to be typical behaviour. Why would she be interested in turning the tube water on. Or earlier when she drain the sewage system to find a door. I don't think normally a person would be interested in draining sewage in that situation unless they knew there was a door.
EGAH yeah I know. Few things piss me off more then when I'm just trying to get home from shopping and monsters keep harassing me and putting debris in my path so that what should be a 20 minute walk and drive takes hours of trying to find detours. Like seriously guys, I'm just trying to get home and catch America's Got Talent, is that really so much to ask?
