thanks for explaining, video also Is very explanatory. at my very old car in last winter rear right window remain frozen, and the white plastic stud wich secure window was remain somehow outside. I completely understand how to fix after watching your video. Thanks!
The inner part can be so hard to push out, that it's necessary to drill it off. Waiting now new parts before totally removing the inner plug. And I tried any other option, believe me, can't do harder otherwise I break the glass.
Hiya.....got it all in thanks for the help! Problem I have is the window doesn’t travel as it should and can come straight back down. How do I adjust it to take the right course of travel?
I found this very useful indeed, so my thanks. Mine was a Polo and I was reassembling the door and couldn't see how to insert the outer collar and then the central plug without it being pushed through. I now see that you do it before the lower plastic part is in place on the glass so that you can get your hand behind the glass to get the correct positioning. Ace
thank you. nice to see some gratitude, unlike from some other people! amazing isn't it... can't stand simple logic, yet obviously they can do better... one handed i might add! lol
Can anyone please help I cannot fit my rear window into my vw polo sdi 9n 2004, it's got exactly the same whole in it to press the round plastic into the hole with the exactly the same bracket etc.
Thanks mate. After 7 years this video is still helping people out. Cheers.
Best vid out there, did not know this was an option and made the job so mutch easier

And plastic part in the window. I put after or before i slide the window to the blue part?
the plastic part (blue) is linked to the back of the window pan. it should already be there connected by the cables :-)
