Who got stuck in the mud?
Night Light Rally 2024 was a party 7 years in the making, bringing
together over 100 RVers to hang out together and enjoy the Totality
solar eclipse in Texas. This event had a lot of moving pieces and
came together to be an epic good time had by all.
Until the rain began, and then most of us struggled to leave.

It looks like you got out without even making any ruts. I can't believe they backed out ot the contract so they could raise the price like that! How much totality did you have there? We had about 2.5 minutes here. What did your kids think of the eclipse? All of ours loved it. We're glad your family got to experience this with a lot of friends.

We had 4.5 minutes of totality, and our girls loved it.

Looks like a pretty good sized rally. That is one huge smoker set up. Mmm I want some cotton candy lol. I hope you were doing the ymca while in the audience lol. Over 100 rvs. That is a pretty big rally. We were supposed to be like 94% or something like that coverage. I don't remember now. But I didn't even go outside lol. Just not my thing. $1300 lego set? Whoa! Daisy is just chillaxing. Wow people cleared out pretty quick. You might be surprised how many people won't get the picnic basket reference. Um yeah $1100 is pretty darn steep. Guess it just depends how much it means to each individual family to do it whether it's worth it or not. Well wasn't that exciting watching the rv get out of the mud. That was so super soft. Oh wow. Probably a good thing people got the heck out. Oh you got out just fine! That's great that you had no issues.

I was doing the YMCA, had to put the camera down. I think we had a good time at this event. At times it felt a bit overwhelming for Tania and I. We stayed inside for most of the second day activities (we stayed home). Thankfully the girls could still run around and take advantage of everything. I was really stressing about us getting out of our spot in the grass after seeing the trouble Nathan had with his big fifth wheel. That's why I was so excited at the end.
