Ultra helpful! I agree with you, we should never use apps as main resources. It's just for support. Like, a really light support when you wanna hold your smartphone in your hand and daydream.
I was on duolingo for half a year and I could see my vocab improving but that was pretty much it. I did enjoy it and downloaded it again, I’ll give it another try alongside Xeropan and the tips you gave, hopefully this time I’ll do better 🙌🏾🥰

I just started learning Japanese and I am using 5 different apps in order to try out to see which ones help the most.
Need to use this app. Been doing French as a major at uni and I need to engage more with the language outside the classroom
