    I second your nomination for Ramsey for President :). I have had a lot of great luck with my Dewalt 735X planer that I have had for 2 years and I think you will really like it.

    Are you able to change between the riving knife and splitter with the side table on the saw cart ? It looks like there is not enough room to disengage the lever. I really like your design and have a DWE7491RS but the lever on my saw has to swing out a lot to disengage the lock to change the riving knife.

      Yes, I positioned it so I can get to that lever if I need to. The placement of that flip up table could easily be repositioned if you need a little more room.

    In your opinion are battery tools worth the added cost over their corded variant when working in a shop?

      100% worth it. I think the time efficiency you gain more than pays for the tools.

    Thanks for the tool share! I got a DeWalt 7485 a month or so ago and the height adjustment is smooth... so maybe they changed something or you have a faulty part? I used one of your other videos to adapt my workbench to mount the saw on the end, so thanks for that too. I'm always jealous of American garages... :) (BTW:
    your website is missing its link above).

      I think they must have changed something because it works just fine. It's just super loud. Id love to see how your workbench turned out? Thanks for the heads up I'll fix the links

    Keep up the good work. How do you like your dust collection?

    • @jonesworksshop
      @jonesworksshop  4 роки тому

      So far so good besides the fact that "universal" dust collection fittings don't fit in anything?! Lol
      It works very well.
