Golden Retrievers are sock magnets. Our boy thinks is his daily duty to bring me and my husband our own dirty socks and/or underwear from the hamper as a ‘present’ every morning. Truth be told, it IS touching. Touching, but stinky.

@@tamerawhitfield6302 that is just how a lot of dogs act when they get in trouble. I've had 4 dogs throughout my life, never hit or abused any of them (in fact, they were pretty spoiled), and only 1 didn't do that when they were reprimanded.

It is a reasonable assumption. The man was acting angry and terrorizing the dog. That was not "normal" and not healthy behavior. That was abusive. That man is a bully. You do not summon a dog to you in anger. What is normal for a dog is to eat any edibles within its reach. Owners that leave food unattended where a dog can reach it are guilty of irresponsible behavior and are in the wrong if they blame the dog.

Nah, it's possible. Which is why I don't have dogs. But watching other people's dogs do stupid shit is pretty funny, as long as I don't have to clean it or smell it.
It is possible and sometimes even necessary. After all, they understand quite well, what they did.
However, it´s always important to figure out, WHY they did it. Sometimes, they are just trying to tell us something about us doing wrong.

I had my Golden for 15years & the only thing She did wrong was pass-away😭She stole my socks, shoes, ate the furniture ate my lunch/dinner, poo-ed in the bed, poo-ed in the house, poo-ed in the bathtub. She was perfect, so gentle & loving & a very Good-girl. Imposible to get remotely mad.
Even though these dogs are guilty they look SO cute. They just reverse our mood from angry to happy in a moment.

The golden retrievers with socks are good at holding A LOT of them in their mouths. I’ve seen one with 5 tennis balls in there. You would never know except for the bulging lips and cheeks

It’s crazy how so many times the owners can tell who was the one misbehaving because they’ll act guilty, that would be impossible with my dogs. One of them constantly looks guilty for being alive and the other could commit a war crime and just come bounding over and act so happy with herself 😂🤦

My parents never hit their dog and when confronted with shit hes done, he also acts like that, walking reaaally really slowly. that was his way of saying sorry.

It’s reasonable for someone to be angry, and I don’t think the dog really feared his dad because of some past trauma. Dogs can pick up tone of voice, so he was probably upset that the dad was disappointed with him.

My dog did that also just so it would take as long as possible to come to me and face the bad thing he did. If he could go by the walls the longest route he did.
There was no flinching or reaction when the dad snapped his fingers. The dad just used a stern voice. Someone dogs do the slow creep walk is a natural reaction when they're "ashamed"
My daughter was drawing herself a nice, warm & bubbly bath 1 evening w/candles & music-came n2 the kitchen 2 get a drink, then all of a sudden we heard “SPLASH!” We ran 2 c what it was-our doggie was laying down n the bath, stretched out, wagging her tail! We couldn’t get “Mad,” cuz it was soooo adorable & funny!! Goldens LUV water, anytime, anyplace!! 😂😂❤️

I couldn't even watch the whole thing. 1:10 in the guy swearing and yelling at the dog and it running away and then the next guy staring at that poor dog in the eyes with the caption "you know what's about to happen". The way that dog wouldn't even come over to him leads me to believe that it has suffered some form of trauma at the hands of its owners. The shitty thing is that they probably encouraged behavior that led their dogs to chew things up and then when the dog does it they get punished and have no idea why.

I don't know why Golden's are so attracted to socks lol And when I try to get the socks from her she growls and "pretends" she's a mean doggo. But she's the SWEETEST dog in the world. 🐕❤️

Omg I had the same problem with one of my dogs with underwear and with a different dog with hair elastics. Thank goodness they both outgrew it.

nooo, I don't think so. If the man wanted to abuse the dog, he wouldn't stand there and wait for it to walk over, he'd go grab it. some dogs just do the slow walk, mine used to walk as slowly as possible over to me when I said "bath"
@@nicoleherriot9846 Actually the dog walking over doesn't mean that they weren't abused. I saw a video where an animal control office reacted to a viral video where the owner would hit their dog then would call them over sweetly and the dog came. The dog could be afraid of making the owner mad and is afraid to disobey, or is confused by the alternating cycle of love and pain. I could be remembering this wrong though, so grain of salt and all that.

Sometimes humans buy big dogs confined them in a house or flat for hours, not enough exercise or set up healthy boundaries and limitations. Afterwards they blames their dogs for misbehaving calling the bad dogs. Humans should do what’s right for the dog and he will behave nicely…dogs are not objects.
Dogs are like people...we get bored and do stupid stuff...they get bored and do stupid (sometimes funny) stuff.
I have a large fenced-in backyard. My two dogs run, jump, play, etc. as long as they wish (weather permitting). I don't let them out in severe hot or cold weather or in rainy weather.
They STILL get into stuff! Human Nature...Animal Nature..
My yard is fenced. My dog goes in and out as he pleases. I don't have much work to do. Feed him, he poops outside in his sand box thingy. Sleeps where he wants. Living his best life
The only time my dog is allowed to be in the house is during thunderstorms cause he is afraid of it.
Our dog only get’s walked a few times a week, cuz everyone goes to work. But he has never done anything bad besides shit on the floor. Also calling your dog bad doesn’t hurt it’s feelings, ofc you can call your dog bad if it misbehaves, it’s not like they truly understand human language. How do you want dogs to be treated anyway? Like kings and queens? Or friends/companions?
Dogs do stuff like this regardless of whether they get enough exercise or not, my uncle’s Pittie, get’s walked everyday, but still destroys their tree whenever he wants to. Can we call that dog’s behavior bad?
