We have a Bowlero here in Woodland Hills, CA. Went there and it had a nice layback lounge setting to it. It felt nice indeed and getting there early is always a good idea. The lanes are a little tricky but it is a cool place to go to. More easy going than anything competitive
I sometimes find myself looking up a specific bowling center just to see what it looks like. Your videos usually pop up. I seem to find your channel useful when it comes to seeing the inside of a bowling alley before I even go to it lol
I used to go there every so often. I stopped supporting Bowlero and started bowling at an "independent" bowling alley in Wheaton. Cheaper, and more enjoyable.
I’m the same way. They only get people to pay these prices because they aren’t competitive. I will NEVER set foot in another Bowlero and have stayed true to my word.
What a shame. I used to go here all the time for the arcade. They might as well put in string pinsetters; this place just feels like it's trying to be a night club with silly shoes.
The bowlero that you recorded last week is better than this one that you recorded. The main thing I like is their pinsetters.( Brunswick A-2s) Great Video! 👍🏾😃
I go back to when this place was known as Gala Lanes West, long before it became a Brunswick Zone. Bowled the best game of my life at 19 here in 2002, a 288. I was throwing a Quantum Double Helix.
@@PinDominator Maybe the Bowlero in Mt. Prospect bought some of the rakes years ago? Also, I know there was a Gala Lanes North that was in Carol Stream, IL at North Avenue & Gary Avenue up until maybe 10 years ago or so, but there's a Pilot gas station there presently. Sorry for the long reply.
That’s Bowlero for you. Probably haven’t put fresh oil on those lanes in a week. They don’t cater to the league bowler. They are all about the casual bowlers that wouldn’t know the difference and would probably call it grease lol.
@aydengianes2515 eeh Bowlero kinda sucks in general, but the quality fluctuates on the location. There are "some" decent ones near me such as Waukegan, Deer Park, Vernon Hills, and Mt Prospect, but there are a lot of poopy ones as well. I would even say the ex-Brunswick Zone XL locations are still decent.
I think Bowlero also has a stake in the PBA or they own the PBA outright. You'd think they'd maintain their centers a whole lot better just for that reason.

With Wheaton Bowl gone, what else is there really? 🤷

@DemetriusReese-so2qm absolutely! Yeah, they must have just gotten new pins for the season
So you bowl at Bowlero locations? I see you found some pretty good ones on your channel.
$11 a game is a crime
Yes, but this is Naperville. 💰

@@csbartonorgan83 interesting. The Bowlero in Mt Prospect has a "Gala Lanes" rake board

worked here back when it was Gala and BrunswickZone
Back when it was fun and reasonably priced 🤣👍

PinDominator, It's Bowlero Naperville 40 Lanes Right?
OWCH. I still don't get how they can charge those prices even during the day when no one is there. Rough game, you'll do better next week.
@@Greggys10Pins yeah, it's insane! I actually Bowled at this location prior to last week's video lol
@@PinDominator Feel like they are trying to be like Main Event. Even they are expensive as well.
thats criminal pricing
Bowlero is E V E R Y W H E R E at least its cheaper than the wonderbowl
Are those even… Synthetic lanes? And oh man, that oil ain’t looking good at all…
At least the pins sound really good.
@@InsaneKorean77 yep, that's about all I can complement about this location. Pins sounds krispy
@@PinDominatorSad. The lanes there used to always be in top shape, but that's going back before it became a Bowlero.
I don't know if it's the bowlero company that's ruing bowling or it's the people that have the bowlero centers are not taking care of anything.
