This is a joy for the old school bowling fans like myself. Love watching the bowlers from my childhood like Parker and Barnes. However the young guys are fun to. Neuer reminds me of a young Jason Couch.
Glad to see Parker's weird Ciminelli style follow-thru I saw in another recent local tournament videos from his son's channel isn't a permanent change! His form is still pure!
I guess I'm just off here but I had to mute this... I'm all about the crowds being back but the noise was just a bit much for me. It just doesn't feel like bowling, it's more like some kind of game show from the 80's lights in the background telling the fans to make more noise.
I only just started bowling a month ago and have been very eager to learn it’s been a great new hobby and helps me release some stress anyone got some advice to share?
First off, welcome to the sport of bowling! As a bowler of almost 23 years, and this advice has worked for me as of late, focus on physical shot execution and not so much on scores. When you can throw the ball good, the pins will fall. Good luck!
Barnes just proves that straighter is greater, but then again whenever he doesn't play straight he doesn't bowl so well so I mean it could really go either way, really just depends on the lane conditions.
@@gunz300 cool, hey btw, I called bayside for tickets to the 2019 elias cup and their recorded message said that if you want to bowl on a lane you must make a reservation 2 days in advance of when you want to bowl, so I thought that I'd ask, do you still have to do that or has it changed recently?
How do you determine the speed? I'm 2 handed and over 220 and rip the ball down lane and it's barely 16.5 on average. Don't know how you say Bohn throws 19
Are these spedometers iffy? Do they measure speed at the heads or at the pins? My home center has me throwing between 15-16, just not sure how consistently it gets measured. I have long arms and legs and can throw 20 if I muscle it, but it ain't hooking much on the backend at that speed.
I don’t think that’s fair there’s 30 years difference the mindset of the kids coming in our juvenile seriously high go with the older bowlers. Like Mark Roth and Earl Anthony.asawa ko po🇨🇿
Will Parker Bohn retain the crown tomorrow?
Yes
I never thought I'd be into bowling like this but this was pretty cool
That's what I like to hear!
I hope we hear more comments like this about bowling in the near future. ‘King of the Lanes’ may become the tour’s biggest outreach opportunity
Glad you're getting into it !! It gets pretty hype
Bowling is awesome
After Neuer picked up that 7-10 split in the US Open, I've been a big fan, hope to see him win sometime very soon, he did great against Parker
So glad to have the fans back watching bowling!

The legend is back !!!!
Neuer is great bowler
seeing parker on TV again is sweet
Always love watching Parker bowl! Can't wait to see tomorrow's matches!
Via has been hanging out with d tang too much
I've always had a ton of respect for PB3, and that respect just went through the roof! Such a humble and kind guy.
Awesome to see Parker on TV.
I use Parker as a big inspiration even as a right hander. Love the smoothness of his style with the old time tested down and in.
PB3 Proves that Veteran Hall of Famers can Smack the Young Boys Down!!! Age is just a number.
So Awesome Atmosphere, congratulations to King Bohn
Those pins sound so soft... Noticed it watching the women too
Parker is The NJ Assassin🤘👍

Yep
Legendary is back!
parker's kids are grown!
that young boy is good! didn't fold under pressure!
LIT! Now that's staying up the back of the ball to PERFECTION. 👏
Love this format! 🤘
It's a really close fight between Neuer and Bohn.
Does anyone else think that Anthony Neuer looks like a young red-headed Greg “ The Hammer “ Valentine ? 😁

What the other guy said ☝☝
I would also add that it may help you to join a league at your local bowling alley.
the greatest advice ive ever learned is to enjoy the sport

I've bowled at Bayside for a few years, and regardless of the pattern the gutter is usually in play. Barnes found that look pretty quick in practice.
@@djmattsouthbeachmiamimixch2163 yeah you're not wrong, he makes the most awkward faces when he loses or gets a bad break, like he's in pain almost.

@@bowlingboi9633 No, you can just walk in unless there's a private event.
@@gunz300 huh, neat, must've been when the pros were in town.
Chris Farley bowls really well.
Parker is the best
This was AWESOME... Captain America
Neur just got Bohned

the tech they have measures ball speed out of the hand. Depending on how many revs you average add about 1-3 mph to what your house speedometer says
Long live the king
Where's Anthony Neuer?
I can't be the only one who thinks the new Kia logo looks like K backwards N.
How much money do the professional bowlers make in this PBA king of the lanes tournament?
I don’t think that’s fair there’s 30 years difference the mindset of the kids coming in our juvenile seriously high go with the older bowlers. Like Mark Roth and Earl Anthony.asawa ko po🇨🇿
Probably shouldn’t comment on things you have no understanding about.
You can’t even hear commentary with that crowd noise, it’s just too much.
Commentary doesn’t even matter. Looks like PBA Bowling is starting to go back to normal after this Pandemic.
How lame can could they possibly make this.. professional bowling needs to stop using cheesy shenanigans.
Please Randy, keep the old commentary to yourself
why would chris barnes rip his shirt when he wins
Same tshirt as a fan. Cpt america
So this crowd is "amazing" because they're yelling the entire time?
Yep and also glad to see actual fans back than still hearing the fake crowd noises. This is like a perfect way to bring the actual crowd back.
the house
Ginger Red Hammer
Is Barnes kidding me with those coke bottle lenses…
great last match strike fest and good memories bowling a hall of famer at bayside 🎳
