@david552 YES! absolutly brilliant - well written and performed - the first time i saw Robert Webb. the set alone was fantastic - if you've ever worked in a well worn building - faded carpets, peeling paint work and notice boards covered in stuff from ages ago - you just totally relate to it. shame there wasn't a third series but now of course, with the smoking ban, there can't be. unless they set it a few years ago.
@SimonB198207 Nah, alas, we don't get HIGNFY in Australia, Ian Hislop is virtually unknown. On an unrelated note, anyone else notice Webb's name was spelt 'Web' in the sticker album? Intentional, I don't doubt :)
@Buffoon1980 Ian Hislop edits Private Eye - you can check out Wikipedia for info, i don't know if you've looked up HIGNFY on youtube, i guess you have. Didn't notice the misspelling, thanks for pointing that out mate. Have a bonza weekend
@david552 yeah, David Mitchell is satire incarnate, very much in the Fry/Hislop kind of way. Robert Webb is a very good actor but is still prone to silly moments - together, a brilliant combo
Ian Hislop... don't you get to see Have I Got News For You down under?.... or did your 'Laugh out loud' indicate you know who he is but that you didn't agree with my comment? i honestly can't tell anymore. Either way, peace!
@SimonB198207 I'm too young to have had a job during the smoking era, but yeah, I've been in schools and offices that looked / felt a lot like that. I always think that Mitchell is the funniest, but Webb is the better actor.
@bigmangiff It's a joke, he's suggesting that the entire of the younger generation is incapable of completing difficult tasks because they all just give up easy, as many people have this strange idea that exam results getting better has to be because they're easier, rather than it being due to the youth being smarter. Except that's just his persona, he says this to highlight the absurdity of it, they often do this in sketches such as the conspiracy planning sketches. Uni is harder though.
I would have bought a Mitchell & Webb Chess Set.
I love how the David sticker is a photo of him holding a Bafta. xD
This is the best Hennimore ever, I'm in tears
LordBuxworth 👑 🍑
It's a bit disturbing
"So are the girls!"
ROFL
your quiet sort of magnetism...
Mitchell and Webb are the best comedy duo imo.
i call it the queens peach for she is the queen of my heart and it is indeed a peach haha
This is so good without the audience to prompt laughter.
I love these guys. there is a 3 episode thing called Ambassadors - one of my faves from these 2
It doesn't have to be all gaudy and covered with sparkles, like my 'The Nazis: A Warning From History' sticker album.
xD
When you're still laughing without a laugh track you know it's a quality show, try that with Friends lol
When you're laughing because of the laugh track, you know you're an idiot.
Robert Webb's Hennimore character always make me think of David Walliams
3:30 - 4:40 ... it's disturbingly like Robert Webb's character transcribed my deepest secret thoughts about David Mitchell.
These 2 gotta come back fckn great chemistry
The Hennimore sketches were genius.
From 2:08 i'm not sure if Robert is shocked...or yawning...
love these guys
god i'd love a mitchell and webb chess set!
started smelling bublegum immidiately when i remembered collecting stickers
i'm not kidding it's scary i doesn't goes away. am i having a stroke?
I got a Mitchell sticker I'd like to trade for a Webb
you can buy them from the official Webbsite 🤣
That fellow with the moustache keeps popping up all over the shop.

'You DO know I'm gay?'.. 'So are the girls!'.. lolololololololol.... 😝😝😝
I agree with both points.
Holy shit that's Happy Harry's animation!
1:48 Jeremy kicks in
I also call it the Queen's peach.
I WANT A MITCHELL AND WEBB STICKER ALBUM! or one of those action figures..... :D
They are definatley the new Fry/Laurie
I really ship David and the girls ❤
I want a mitchell and webb chess set.
@SimonB198207 Nah, alas, we don't get HIGNFY in Australia, Ian Hislop is virtually unknown.
On an unrelated note, anyone else notice Webb's name was spelt 'Web' in the sticker album? Intentional, I don't doubt :)
definitely.
I you screw up, I will never think henniless of you any more.
@Buffoon1980 Ian Hislop edits Private Eye - you can check out Wikipedia for info, i don't know if you've looked up HIGNFY on youtube, i guess you have.
Didn't notice the misspelling, thanks for pointing that out mate.

Anyone here remember 'The Smoking Room'? :-)

@david552 yeah, David Mitchell is satire incarnate, very much in the Fry/Hislop kind of way. Robert Webb is a very good actor but is still prone to silly moments - together, a brilliant combo
Until I saw the sketch you mentioned, I was wondering what the hell a "Gay love rock" is. lol
HENNIMORE!!!
Robert gets to be the rare desirable one
Photocopier maintenance contracts.
I think it's just that they do it in front of an audience.
A levels are not easy GCSEs are easier than walking.
Also - isn't that Raymond Terrific in the bar-room scene?
magnetism xD
Ian Hislop... don't you get to see Have I Got News For You down under?.... or did your 'Laugh out loud' indicate you know who he is but that you didn't agree with my comment?
i honestly can't tell anymore. Either way, peace!
i want the chess set
Way better than Fry/Laurie
Although I will say Stephen Fry is a very funny man.
hah hah queens peach queen's speech hah hah
four candels or fork handels?
Defiantly? Definitively?
@SimonB198207 I'm too young to have had a job during the smoking era, but yeah, I've been in schools and offices that looked / felt a lot like that.
I always think that Mitchell is the funniest, but Webb is the better actor.
Odd that "Webb" is spelt wrong at 0:53.
Hennimore
Hennimore is very contrived, but funny
+Kirsch Rot That's the whole point. It's a parody of 1970's british sitcoms
Call me stupid . . . the peas over the face is a nod to many a faceless character in such sitcoms and not something a bit more vague? Right?
@bigmangiff when you get to uni youll say they were easy
oh they add in laughter on the show.
You do know I'm gay don't you?
Now we know...
So are the girls!
@bigmangiff It's a joke, he's suggesting that the entire of the younger generation is incapable of completing difficult tasks because they all just give up easy, as many people have this strange idea that exam results getting better has to be because they're easier, rather than it being due to the youth being smarter. Uni is harder though.
@Christopher Marlowe 8 years later I get this comment. Clearly someone's having a bad day.
This Henimore sketch was a bit "meh", not surprised it was cut.
Chess set i want it
Is that harry Patridge and Eddsworld?
I love how GCSE is so much easier than IGCSE lmao
ayy lmao roflcopter
Yes for the gay stuff, no for the crapping on the youth for having anything interesting to do
Isn't this copyrighted material owned by the BBC? So you're in effect a pirate, making money of a publicly funded broadcaster. Proud huh?
@@zapkvr Moron
man this was one of the best shows ever made. its a shame the two are SUPER SJWs now :(
Maybe they're onto something
Really? That makes me like them even more
