Once you make Jesus lord of your life a true confession, you become born again you give God Freedom to change your dead spirit to his spirit in other word you look like Jesus in your Spirit awesome, then as you learn of his kingdom your soul change to think like God, our body will be changed later, but the way I see it 2 against 1 your spirit and Soul against the body eventually your body will obey and you will live Holy in all 3 man, not perfect in our soul or body but we will live a change life by Faith through Grace. So does it mean that when you are born again in your spirit, you need to be born again in the soul and body before you are truly born again? If this is true, then how long does it take to be truly born again?
Only our spirits get born again. The old sin nature passes away & is crucified with Christ. Our soul (mind, will & emotions) gets renewed by reading His word, submitting, etc. Rom 12:1-2. His teaching on body, soul & spirit is very informative.

He means the other way around.. the spirit has not been "born again" but they know about it, know who Jesus is and so on.... headknowledge..
