Could you explain the stage fairing variables? They’re set to stage at 50km by default but they never jettison until around 69km because of the other settings which I’m not currently familiar with.
It's weird, using the exact same vessel and settings this doesn't work at all. I have to turn off AoA if I even want to get close to the ascent path and even then it's still off.
Oh. I hate to say this but the ascent path shown on the Ascent Guidance is not real, it is just a 'cartoon' or 'crayon' schematic it is not supposed to be calibrated. If a rocket follows it, it is more by accident than anything else. By all means switch AoA off if you get a better result without it.
hey man, i follow the steps above but my mechjeb seems to do certain bugs such as not adding the manuever to build and orbit, and even if it does build an orbit, the periapsis is almost 65000 km and reducing due to gravity, and the apoapsis increasing to 125000 km. i don't understand if it's mechjeb that is causing me the issue. i am using KSRSS Reborn but it shouldn't cause any troubles.
If you use the same stock vessel and the same MechJeb settings I used in the video it should work. MechJeb may or may not work correctly with other mods. The latest version of MechJeb should be the best, but I cannot verify that 100%.
@@jitteryjet7525 though i did some tinkering with the mod and eventually fixed it, but i couldn't help myself with the landing guidance, as you said it may or may not work with other mods, it is partially working and partially not, do you have any landing autopilot mod in mind, for landing Starship or the Falcon 9. Mechjeb works with the starship only if i do some tweaking but not with the falcon 9 one, a mod would really be appreciated, if there is any landing autopilot mod apart from mechjeb itself :D.
@@mikey.frfrfr I think the MechJeb landing guidance is more for airless bodies such as the Mun and Minmus. I am not much of a Mod guy, to me MechJeb is more like a Utility than a Mod. I do know there are some Mod packs around specifically to allow fans to do SpaceX-type missions - they include new rocket parts and everything. There are some KSP Modding websites around from which you can download mods.
@@jitteryjet7525 i really invested lot of time in this game and eventually started landing manually, it works with mechjeb though i don't need it that much unless i mess things up. but yeah i think i solved my own problem :D. thanks again
It doesn't turn on the engines again when it is supposed to in order to get to orbit, I have tried so many times its always the same no matter what rocket I use and I have checked all settings and everything is set to what is said in this video. Someone please help me as soon as possible I am losing my mind over this.
It depends on what is causing it to deviate from the trajectory calculated. The rocket has to be capable of following the trajectory of course. I recommend you debug the design first - start by duplicating the flight shown on my my video then work from there, that is why I used stock rockets.
I don't know why, but I love your choice of music in this video
Thanks. It's free music from the UA-cam library and the in-game music.
turn off AoA if you want it to follow the ascent path
It depends if a zero-lift gravity turn is wanted or not. Zero-lift gravity turns have very low Angle of Attacks.
Strange how this doesnt work on my end, but im not using the same parts, so i cant say much EDIT: This works, i just forgot to engage autopilot
Did you use MechJeb?

I don't use stage fairings. Some of the code in MechJeb does not work, it's a matter of trial and error sometimes.
for some reason the acsent guidance goes along the 255 screwing the circulization burn and everything up, idk how to fix this

I cant see ascent guidance option in MJ menu. What technologies should i research in science center first ?
The Tech Tree will tell you.
Pure perfection

hey where i can download this mod?
You can download it from several places. I use this version:
ua-cam.com/video/k4DUyqyUzss/v-deo.html

Make sure "skip circularization" is unselected.

ascent guidence doesnt show for me
It has to be unlocked.
@@patchedconics3084 how ?
@@yousfhelal321 Everything is unlocked in Sandbox mode. MechJeb functions are added to the Tech Tree like everything else.
wish you would talk
Fair comment. If I did talk in a KSP "How To" video, what sort of stuff would you like to hear me say?
@patchedconics3084 it would have been perfect for this tutorial. I find it easier to learn when I can hear the person. So tutorial videos, I guess?
@@sonofthunder2665 I find it way more easily to follow the instructions without someone talking. Quite straight to the point. liked it!
This worked so well than you
