So... The cheaper one uses a copy of the cooler master mounting system, and the more expensive one uses a 90s-vintage spring loaded mounting system. Makes sense.

I bought one of these snowman coolers, the low profile cooler with the fan facing down towards the cpu) for my i5-9400 and it was such a pain to get the clips on. It ended up being so loose that I can spin freely but it doesn’t seem to ‘rock’. I may have damaged the cooling by applying too much pressure idk, it still works fine though, temps are low enough. I used thermal grizzly paste on it too. I want to build into a new tiny case, I have a ‘dtx’ mobo and from some research it seems it will fit into a 3 slot itx case, I also need one that fits an atx PSU though. I’m thinking about getting a aio to replace the snowman but I don’t wanna spend more than $150 on the case+aio

Also the mounting kit here both contains the AMD and Intel variants (but stil the same crappy Intel Mounting Kit).
Snowman T6 Black Edition here with 2 ARGB Fans included that should come with a free thermal compound plus 2 mounting kits is around 35.5 USD.

@@IskalimHK it is beyond excellent if you replace the stock fans with some good fans (my mt6 has 2 fans).
Tips for installing this kind of cooler: install the brackets as you normally would, however, loosen the screws as much as you can. Install the cooler on the loosen brackets. Tighten the screws diagonally with a long screwdriver to force the cooler on your cpu. This would ensure that thermal paste is evenly spread and you don't have to worry about the stupid clamps of the cooler. Note: unless you have very delicate hands, you should install it free from your chassis.
To uninstall it, follow the steps backwards. Uninstalling will not require motherboard's removal from the chassis.

Awesome video. I got a dual fan mt6s mounted on my lga 1366 system. I have to say that even tho it was a bit finnicky, installation wasnt really that much of an issue. The plastic push-pins held up through my rather aggressive installation. The mt6s on my atx x58 mobo did intrude on the first pcie slot, so i actually have it rotated so its exhausting to the top of the case. Does an excellent job cooling my w3690 overclocked to 4.12ghz.

Bitcoin's fall was expected for some time because nothing goes in just one direction according to my mentor Robert C. Yet many people are seeking for stability in an unstable crypt0 space and A lot of people are wondering if now is a good time to buy or sell because of where the price is at right now, let’s not forget volatility is the sole nature of the market and hence there is nothing to be perturbed about. In fact, it's a very healthy correction and market participants should utilize this correction to buy more cryptos, with b!tcoin testing the 61.8 Fibonacci support level at $38,000,we expecting to see massive Bull run in the coming week, to Newbies and investors who want to get first hand analysis on trading the correction this coming week.

I agree about quality of plastic clips, it's necessary to ask seller to send few additional ones (they just throw it in without additional charge if you ask) but better solution for Intel platform is what they need in future

Considering the BOM of a cpu cooler there’s no reason they should cost so much. I do own a few Noctua coolers but recently bought one of those Amazon Veetro coolers on the cheap(which there are tons of clones just like this snowman cooler) and surprisingly works incredibly well on a Ryzen 7 3700x. I just put my own fans on and added an exhaust fan to the back of the cooler.

Already have an ID-Cooling SE-224XT Black V2 myself but I took a look at Snowman MT4 and MT6S coolers as I'm considering upgrading to a better cooler for my older pc that has a Xeon E3 1240 V3 and it doesn't look like I would be getting one.
Snowman coolers were priced pretty cheap around ~$10~$25, but they have problems with the packaging like you mentioned.
But most reviews on an online marketplace I checked had really damaged boxes for them to the point where some looked like a ball that was kicked around by a bunch of kids. Lots of crumpled boxes so the heatpipe tops were peeking out, and worst ones have the fan broken and the copper heatpipes cracked.
Pretty weird if consdering this in Asia and China isn't too far, but that's pretty telling that the packaging or kind of a lack of additional supporting material inside like foam inside the box is the problem for the beat up packages. There's potential mishandling of packages by couriers, but I've ordered a dceent amount of suff fron China and never seen packages as beat up as those Snowman coolers. Even more unfortunate is that some people who got damaged Snowman coolers had a hard time getting in touch with the sellers.

Both those fans look oddily similar to another budget king, the Gelid Phantom.
The latter is a sub 40 eur 120mm dual tower with 7(!) heatpipes (3 are 8mm and the other 4 are 6mm).. you just rip those two fans (that are decent but they won't run below 800 rpm and are noisy), put two Arctic P12s (for 10-12 eur) and you get a silent, cheap, but extremely performing cooler. The mounting isn't tremendously good without a long magnetic screwdriver, but it's not as bad as these ones. I used to tame a 5800x with it, then got a Dark Rock Pro 4.. and the Phantom + arctic fans was matching the same temperatures (slightly above 80C on both, ofc the DRP4 is quieter, the fans can cope that max temp at much slower RPM, but still..)

I think too little is made of no thermal compound. For a tech reviewer this is no big deal at all, for a regular person this makes the cooler cost $10 more which brings it up an entire price bracket. At that point you are only like 20% cheaper than the noctua, which comes with a 6 year warranty and will likely last you decades. At the point of upgrading to a new system, and this company selling you a $15 adapter socket adapter, you are at the point where they cost you the same, but one is literally the most expensive prestigious premium company and the other is random Chinese trash. This might make sense for a Chinese person to buy, or maybe even American depending on tariffs, what starts off as an amazing deal turns out to really not be after all the additional costs are added.
