Hi I just bought your book and are now setting everything up while looking at the videos. I followed all the steps but my interface in Gimp does not look like yours in this video. It looks like it did before I istalled the Udema Recources, I do not have a straight toolbar at the left but a smaller one in the upper left corner, like a box rather than a straight line. And the right side looks dirrent too. Also the files in the Udema Recources dit not look like in your video, there were other files and a lot more of them. Im using version 2.10.22 of Gimp.

I have a bit newer version than the one shown here, is that why it will not allow me to set shortcuts? I go to View --> Zoom-->Fit Image in Window and press Ctrl+0 like you say, but nothing happens.
I have the latest version (2.10.24) and I just tried it again. It still seems to work. Be sure you hold you mouse above the text in the menu so that the text becomes dark. Then give in the shortcut. The shortcut will immediately be shown and will work directly. Hope this helps :)
Hi Bernard, I installed the plug-ins, but my UI does not look like yours in lesson four. The tools on both sides of my interface are miniaturized. How do you enlarge the them ?
Hi. If you have a high resolution display, in lecture 69: ''Configuring Gimp's User interface'' I show in at 7:15 how to enlarge the Icons that are shown in your UI. You can choose between 4 sizes!
