hey Dina make a video with your mom telling her convert story, how she met your dad, how it is to be in a interacial marriage, how did the families react? Me my self am about to get married to a muslim man and I would like to hear some story and advice from a successfull interacial couple. love your videos :)
best wishes to you...I was married to a muslim manfor 18 years, and his family was so very nice and loving...we are very much still family today, he passed away in 2008...
007VitaminD You dont get to decide that. Please dont write stuff here that you wont actually say to someones face. Also, stop comparing women to dirty toffee wrappers. Thank you very much.
It would be so interesting to hear from your mother about what it was like for her to convert to islam and be with an egyptian man. I've recently gotten married to an egyptian muslim, I'm amaerican and i have found that it is far more difficult than I had ever imagined. What is your parent's story, how'd they meet? when did she convert? What did she face when she did and what did your father face? Did he have any concerns and what eventually arrived as a saving grace, or rather what was their saving grace all along? I'm not having an easy time at all the cultural differences are more severe than anything I've ever experienced and my parents are immigrants and I'm american - so I have some knowledge of cultural differences and how issues may arise due to them. Your Momma looks incredibly happy and your family is stunning, might you all (You, Sid, Mum and Baba) respond. I just found out I'm pregnant so its becoming increasingly more difficult. Please, anything would be wonderful. :)
Dae R I know what you mean. I'm American. My father is colombian and my mother is irish/french. I became muslim in 2009 after a few visits to egypt with my stepdad who is egyptian. My Egyptian stepdad basically raised me but he is pretty americanized since he lived in america for over 30 years. Anyways I met my Egyptian husband in 2011 on fb. Turned out I knew majority of his family since they knew my stepdads family pretty well. And my egyptian grandma(stepdads mom) used to babysit my husband when he was young. Now we married this year in May and I'm living in Egypt. It's difficult cause a lot of the cultural aspects about egypt these days has nothing to do with islam. It's also a very demanding culture sometimes. I got lucky cause my mother in law and father in law are pretty chill and my husband has spoke up a few times when it comes to the cultural demands. Like for example we had a small wedding with only people we liked which pissed off a lot of people. Unfortunately some of his family members didnt like us getting married and we didnt want to invite them so we basically didnt invite anyone to be fair. But hey that's egyptians sometimes. They either love you or want nothing to do with you but they put on a fake smile when you are around. It's stressful cause I don't bother anyone. Anyways your best bet is to follow the Islamic rules the most. It has been my best defense when either my husand or someone else tried to push egyptian cultural things at me that aren't necessarily good or not islamic. Islamic life is supposed to be simple but a lot of egyptians have lost sight of that. Now everything has to be big and a lot of people want to show off what they have. I could go on forever with many topics but I don't have your information. It really comes down to how much the in-laws like you, if your husband will stick up for you when you are not okay with all the cultural demands and you standing your ground. You do NOT have to agree with everything in the egyptian culture since it's not completely islamic. Stick with Islamic rules the best you can.
Dina, you are one of my favorite You-Toubers.. You and Sid are AWWEESOME!!! I have never looked forward to a vlog as much as I do yours! Much love from the U-S-A!
Dina, love your relationship with your mom. Dina, you should do a Mum Q &A with your mum. I love hearing stories about wise older people and inspiring us with their hard work. :) Love you and stay blessed. xo, Yasmin
Dina, first time commenting, although I watch you religiously! Love your channel! But I had to pause the video and tell you that, honey, your eyeshadow at 6:23 is giving me life!!! LOVES IT! And you should really tell us where you bought it, or a tutorial is definitely in order. Okay, now back to watching!
you know I feel so much better after watching your vlogs. I felt so bad and embarrassed when they checked me at the airport so suspiciously for no good reason when i was travelling only for plab2 exam. I even cried later in the waiting lounge. Now I know that they treat everyone like this and I'll be confident and won't even take it seriously next time. Coz I know they have no criteria or system for it and can just trouble anyone.
Salam Dina, We used to have the same sleeping issues with my daughter she used to be awake most of the night screaming uncontrollably and it turned out to be a gluten allergy. Once her diet was adjusted, the difference was amazing!
Dina this is the first time me leaving a comment on UA-cam. I want to tell you that I really like you're videos. you're real and sophisticated woman/mother and wife Mashallah. May Allah bless you and you're loved ones 🤗
the when Dina was being styled with the turban with the ponytail it reminded me of the Girl with the Pearl Earring (also remember that scene in St. Trinian's when the girls were looking at that painting and said she would look better with some gold hoops? lol!)
Can you do a video on your favorite scarves/scarve stores?? Btw been watching you from day one since the days you used to wear your scarves humongously on top of your head and layered bracelets up to your elbows lol. Love you Dina!! :)

Your accent when describing the scarves is epic
It's a Glaswegian accent lol

WHO ELSE SAW DINA ON THE UA-cam REWIND???
Faizah xo where which part

Seriously?? I thought she wasn't, I was kinda gutted lol
she was in it for like 2 seconds tho :( she was in the construction scene on the far right side
Faizah xo yeah
Love the Scottish accent at the end LOL
Mostafa Taleb that was not Scottish lol 😂 it was more Lancashire
as a Scottish person it sounds like a poor attempt if Scottish is what she was aiming for but it definitely sounds more English :P
It's not Scottish at all, it sounds more like Coronation Street to me. (from a Scottish person).
