Joe Calzaghe v Robin Reid, 1999. Reid landed the heavier shots and the most shots and finished the fight the stronger. The judges scored it 2-1 for Calzaghe. One judge scored it for Reid 116-111. The other 2 judges scored it 116-111 for Calzaghe. Both boxers had the same promoter but Calzaghe was the unbeaten champion and was therefore favoured! I defy anyone who watches that fight again not to come to the conclusion that Reid was the winner and a comfortable one! ps. Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall 1 was an ever bigger injustice as everyone knows Catterall won it, but the judges gave a split decision win to Taylor.
