I first visited the Broads when I was about 11, 1966, on a day trip from Pontins Pakefield. I was entranced by our short boat trip and have returned regularly ever since. Don't tell everyone just how beautiful it is! I hope you continue to return to this lovely part of Britain.
The way you passed that sailing boat in Fleet Dyke, South Walsham, by passing behind them once they had turned, was perfect. 😊 I would advise caution mooring up on a ‘wild mooring’ where it looks like trees have been recently cut down. There might well be tree roots under the water that could cause problems.
