Can you guys update your website to include the board you should play if you dont hit Viktor? A lot of the guides show viktor but obv you dont hit him in most games
GM player here. Dw about hitting Viktor or not. Them including Viktor in various comps on the site is just meant to represent a capped level 9 iteration.
I feel like making other comps stronger is better than just outright nerfing chem baron as it'll already become more punishing to play especially on the 300/400 cashouts
I don't know about 3 Sterak's Urgot, but I do know that Radiant Sterak's is the absolute nuts item on Urgot. I've gone 1st in all 3 games I've gotten radiant sterak's on Urgot. That item is godly. so i wouldn't be surprised if triple sterak's urgot is the way to go. It just feels like one Bloodthirster is necessary but maybe not who knows
I think the perception of chembaron weak is cuz for some reason people are convinced you need to 500, when in reality 400 is more than enough to win, and even 300 can top 4. I’ve seen it in games too, where people just greed to 500 when they had an amazing 400 at two lives left and they just die instead.
Lone Hero Lux does need most parts of it's BIS to win out against comps with good backline access like high cap Rebels...but once Mage Armor is online with 3* BiS, it gets sooooo much harder to reliably snipe her before lone hero activates. I never get offered anything good at 400 Chem Baron cashout, I'm still waiting to see what the pros are talking about that 400 two life is easy top 4. I'll push for 500 one life every time until it happens. Also, Rebels got skipped? I think it's worth talking about the winrate of Jinx along with the winrate of rebels without Jinx, I think the comp is secret B tier without two emblem/early Jinx high roll.
I will say as an Emerald 2 player who doesn't play much lose-streak econ traits, Chem Baron is a fun challenge for me. I'll often hit the "gg on 2-1" Chem Baron augments and still go 6th~3rd cuz I make mistakes. IMO, the best nerf is to just nerf the individual units. Allows them to nerf Chem Baron for high Elo, while also "buffing" Chem Baron for low elo, where people often lose their streaks to bad players on weak boards.
I filtered lux comp with master or diamond+ and it still average 4.39 something thinking it was in the three and theres no way these people doesnt know lone hero is not required

I had a game where the top three was me plus two people playing lone hero lux lol. I ended up beating them both with Emissary/watcher/artillerTrist.
What I found with 7 experiment is that you have to put a worthless urgot and zyra on your board instead of 5 costs + 5 experiment

Investment Strategy I as first augment with Trist-Bruiser is strong. Never thought I would be able to 6 automata with it.
