I’ve been obsessed with those clocks for as long as I can remember but my dream is to have the pale blue version that instantly feels like it belongs in a 50’s kitchen
My favorite decor piece in the last four months is this stuffed animal style elk head/mount I got for my baby son’s room. It’s like “hey I’m manly…but I’m also a baby.” If I could put one in every room, I would. But honestly, the low-bookshelf thing, I felt that. We have a horrible sectional that goes along our back living room wall and then up under the front window. Waste of a window; I want a low bookshelf there and I want it now. And I love the idea of a bench coffee table. We need our lifting-top type table though :( Decorating is so much more fun and easy without a family, haha. I’m about to redo my hall bathroom; it’s currently too themed for me. And I’m the one who decorated it. It’s all cacti and desert. But I want it like…different. I have an eclectic style and I like nothing to match but that won’t fly with the bf. I’ll figure something out. Our other bathroom is tattoo themed (well we have art in there from our tattooers) and gray; I want to move everything over to the main bath but idk. Sadly no room for a lamp in there. Thanks for some inspiration and a chill talk 😌 oh and siiiiick vest
ah yeah, finding the balance between functionality & style when you’re considering other people is tough. it’s not the same, but i always run into that with our cats…. i guess it’s the law that cat trees under $200 have to be *insanely* ugly 🫢 but i loooove the tattoo-themed bathroom concept. tattoo art is too cool to not be displayed in homes more often!!
You have impeccable taste! The bedding is from Schoolhouse and they have crazy sales sometimes, I got it for pretty cheap considering its 100% linen :) horizontal stripes tho lol
ah, thank you :’)) that bedding pops into my head at least once every 72 hours- i’ll have to keep an eye out for another crazy sale so i can finally stop obsessively thinking about it against my will. until then, i’ll be living vicariously through you 😌
Benches as coffee tables absolutely should be a thing more often. If for no other reason, how often do you stub your toe on a bench versus on a coffee table? The keep the room open and easier to move around in, as well as it's easier to move a light bench than some of the behemoth coffee tables out there.

i honestly think scandinavian blends with mid century pretty well! better than most other styles do 😌 & im grateful the algorithm brought you this way!! it’s always exciting to come across likeminded people 🤠

I'm thinking Ur between retro and eclectic,but which ever style ,u have excellent taste and ideas, definitely a flare for interior design,I think u did just come up with the new vintage TV idea,and it's brilliant,the have retro look radio's but they have Bluetooth and MP3 etc.😊 Do you like when one wall in a room is painted a different colour to the rest of the room like the blue cobalt colour you were showing and the rest walls are white or cream?

i am also a vertical striped bedding enthusiast to the point where i'm considering getting striped sheets for my already striped comforter-covered bed but if you try to put horizontal-striped pillows on my beautiful vertical-striped bed i will go into a blind rage tasmanian devil style sorry.
blind rage tasmanian devil style is 100% justified and i’ve grown to realize that! i’m currently more of a solid x vertical stripe supporter than a horizontal stripe x vertical stripe supporter so i’m more on your side than ever p.s. get the sheets
i just checked and apparently have over 630 hours logged on it…… so i guess you could say i play acnh a little!! 🤠 i restarted my island about a year ago and have been on a hiatus for ~10 months so it’s only halfway decorated, but i did want to do a tour one day! i do have a dream address for my previous island though- if you wanna check it out it’s DA-2082-9825-5373 (it should be called Olleria!)
that "i won't steal the clock" really did not sound convincing. also you've convinced me on long low bookshelves and benches as coffee tables. love that oh and i'm also a big fan of darker colours though i prefer them to be a bit more muted like navy blue and olive green! i have a certain range of green that i call "perfect green" but i cannot explain it
