the robots are pretty advanced but the rest of the ride through the bayou is living with the land part 2
so unimpressed maybe they are going to do more and just wanted to get it opened To many blank spaces
I think that this ride would’ve been awesome as a family ride would attract similar to Navi river I feel it doesn’t fit on splash Mountain speaking. I think it would be better off if you were in a boat instead of a log.

Thank you for being the ONE and ONLY vlogger who actually had any critiques or any negative feedback. So many others I feel were just plain lying to their viewers, they just love it, as they pretend they didn't just see non-working animatronics or even mention the down times at all. I feel I lost respect for every single one of the pixie dusting vloggers, but gained respect for you.

One great thing about this ride is that it's showing who can actually be honest with their opinions about the ride, compared to the people who make money off of saying positive things about Disney no matter the quality.

Do you remember if Gardians and Tron had a lot of issues when they first opened? Love both of those rides, but we only visit a few times a year, so we miss a lot of these openings.
All attractions always have issues, but I don’t think they had issues like this

I love the color scheme and the animatronics on this re-theme! I wonder if they got too fancy with the animatronics, and those are what keep going down? not the actual ride track?? 🤔 Hopefully they figure it out!! Glad this went smoother for you than Monday!
I appreciate your honest take. It definitely looks like a fun ride. Listen I’ve learned as I’ve gotten older whether I like something or not that not everyone has to feel the exact same way I do. My problem is when people just become way too aggressive and relentless in their thoughts and opinions. I just wish more people that aren’t fans of this can just be like I’m not a fan of it and find it disappointing and just move on.
I think that when you compare what Disney is doing in other parks to this ride, it screams low budget. As expensive as MK is, I honestly expected more. Feels like the budget was used in the last scene and everything else was an after thought.
Remember all of the issues with Frozen when it first opened? And still actually. Seems like the best of the best technology tends to not be consistent!

The rushed it for sure. It looks like they left out half of the animatronics! So boring,,needs more characters. Needs improvement.
Great video & insight-thank you! Unfortunately, I am so disappointed with the execution of this new version. It feels like a rushed Band-Aid of a fix-cheaply & sloppily done with no true cohesive storyline. A shell of its former self. I expect more from Disney.

I appreciate the sympathy for the cast members who have to deal with the down times for the ride. I only work as a waiter for a snack shack but I understand the upset of having to give people something that isn’t high quality when it’s the people in the back who made it. It’s not fun dealing with the disappointment of guests. I’m not saying the ride is low quality I’m just trying to explain my thoughts.
It was cool seeing you at MK today. (6/6) I’m the one that shouted Wright Down Main Street! Lol… A little after 12:00.
The tower was a mistake. It makes the “mountain” look small. Maybe that was the purpose.
I think I saw a video saying that they wanted to make the mountain look smaller so it didn’t frighten kids too much by using forced perspective. It was the mammoth club’s video.

How do you get a table at the Tambu Lounge??? My family has tried multiple times, and each time the tables are filled with people who have NO INTENTION OF LEAVING ANYTIME SOON. Every attempt has ended in frustration.

Nothing could be better than Splash Mountain. If Disney would have just updated the Splash animatronics it would have been way better than this. The new laughing place scene is terrible
Disney didn’t do anything to “fix” the original Splash Mountain ride, so don’t expect the breakdowns to end!
But Splash Mountain rarely broke down.
There are some things that are definitely better with Tianas bayou adventure and there are some things with Splash Mountain that are better. It's just a ride, after all. Don,t let it ruin your entire vacation.
Again, this ride is boring and not making any reference to the real story. This ride does not tell the story at all. Tiana doesn't turn into a frog, where is the frog prince, the bad guy? A lot of empty space, overfill of greenery, and lack luster. STORY is MISSING!

The more people are bypassing Ohana for Tambu Lounge, it just gives Disney the opportunity to reduce portion sizes because so many Disney fans simp for those noodles.
The narrative is super confusing and so many places with absolutely nothing going on; what horrible mismanagement.
There is hope, Joe Rohde is coming out of retirement. I was told on a VIP tour.

It sure doesn't seem like much of a "bayou adventure" to me.
Disney did a disservice to Tiana's Bayou venture. Tiana is known for being a Princess they are characters missing throughout the ride the storytelling is horrible and of course at the end is the only time you see her somewhat like a princess without her prince that's a real big problem Disney has found another way to keep people of color blow all other princess

There is a story to bayou adventure, but it seems like they rushed into it.
It's not really all that engaging for what's supposed to a be a thrilling ride. Making a thrill ride feel boring takes some serious blundering.

if you watch any of her other videos ( even the one just yesterday from Le Cellier) she is FAR from a shill for anything- she always keeps it real 100% Thats the best thing about her channel/ videos!
Or maybe they just need to run things with people in the seats for a few weeks and work out some kinks.
Some things can definitely be explained by the fact it's still in soft opening (such as the heavy downtime and issues with some of the scenes). Others like the story being on par with a Disney Junior special instead of a thrill ride, not so much.
Boring. Dark A F. Way too much bare empty space. Seems unfinished. I'd ride it to cool off, but that's about it. Why was Sean wearing a flannel shirt in 90 degree heat??? And he seemed fine with it🤷 can you imagine the mess and the ants if they had beignets in that ride area??? Never miss your vids. 👍

Yeah it sucks because I like Princess and the Frog. They should have built a brand new ride somewhere else and just updated Splash
Perhaps if they would have stuck to the original movie story line, it may have been better. It doesn’t seem like there is any cohesiveness in the ride now. Perhaps seeing it in person is better than it translate on video.

I don't know if it is the childhood trauma that has frozen my brain to be forever eight years old... but, I think this ride is the bees knees. 😅😅😅 I think it is an upgrade from Splash Mountain as well!

I still say they should have went with Moana. Te Fiki as the sleeping volcanic mountain. The Away Away song blasting. So much more they could have done that would have been in context with the story. Here they had to invent it. And failed. And salt mines were worked by slaves. So, disney didn't fix anything they thought they were fixing. Dumb.
