Wonderful recap! And I appreciate a shorter version that gave enough information to understand everything in each show. I’m seeing the new Spider-Man tomorrow and wanted a recap on all of them since no way would I have time to watch all of them.
Likewise. I just had enough time to watch Far From Home since I hadn't watched it yet, but had zero time to rewatch any of the other movies with finals for school going on, so this video was a godsend.
I’ve watched all the movies involving Spider-Man (and all the other Avengers lol) but this recap is great because I forgot a lot of it! So it’s really helpful before I watch the new Spider-Man No Way Home
Just saw the new one tonight, it was AWESOME!! I loved the way they brought all the multiverses into it! Oh and FYI..there’s 2 little clips after the credits!
It’s so sad how Andrew lost his parents, uncle Ben, Gwens father and then Gwen. The part where Gwen dies will always be one of the saddest movie scenes I’ve ever seen especially since Peter already made the promise to her dad to stay away from her
Personally, I think Sandman was the most well-intentioned villain of the previous Spider-Man movies. Yeah he killed Uncle Ben, but he wasn't trying to be evil, he just wanted money to pay for his daughter's surgery. Which is kind of similar to the Vulture in "Spider-Man: Homecoming," in my opinion.
He didn't mean to kill Uncle Ben. He was really desperate to save his daughter and while trying to steal Uncle Ben's car he did it gently. When Uncle Ben told him to just go home, Flint was considering it as he wanted to avoid crimes. But when his partner came running, he was startled and accidentally pulled the trigger. He had really regretted doing it and ever since then his life became worse for him. The only thing left for him was to save his daughter who was getting sicker each day. He is a really pitiful character.
@@daniellee773 That's why I don't truly see him as an evil villain like Green Goblin and Doc Ock, cause he wasn't doing any crazy experiments, he accidentally stumbled into one. Overall, he was trying to be a good dad
@@broadwaybrook2319 Norman and Otto weren't evil at first. They may have had ambition but they had no bad intentions. Due to accidents, they were each corrupted by either the Goblin persona or AI tentacles. That is also true for Doctor Connors who was corrupted by lizard persona. The really evil villains in SpiderMan films were Vulture (who still could have supported his family without turning into life of crime), Mysterio, Raimi Version of Eddie Brock, and Webb Harry Osborn.
My favorite actor to play Spider-man is Tom Holland. However, I think the Tobey McGuire movies had the better storyline. Great recap! I’m excited for the release tomorrow!
It is not that simple. According to mass general consensus, Spiderman Homecoming is better than Spiderman 1, and Far from Home is better than Spiderman 3. But when it comes to Spiderman 2 vs No Way Home, it is hard to say as it has only been out for a day.
I don’t know if I agree with this, but I’d say Tom is NEW. He’s a reiteration of spider man that’s younger and still learning, and I think that’s “legendary”, but in a way that doesn’t diminish what the other actors did before him. It’s different, it’s unique, and it fills a hole in the MCU of a young, growing hero that’s progressing as we watch. I personally love it along side the rest of the MCU, but I can understand why some people like the other iterations of Spider-Man. As a whole, I think Tom Holland nailed what the Disney wanted out of Spider-Man in the MCU, and I love how they were able to change/alter the character without changing what we adore about him. Yet to see now way home, but I have no doubt that they did it in a way that continues what we love about how the continuation of spider-man is playing out 🙂
@@benbeasley504 thanks for sharing! When I said “legendary” it wasn’t to diminish Tobey and Andrew :) i meant to give them all their flowers. I believe every Spider-Man achieved what it ought to: inspire a generation. There’s no quantifying what each spidey did ! 💙❤️ 🕷
Thank you so much for this! I’ve watched all the Spiderman films but there are so many villains to keep track of and I wanted a quick recap instead of watching them all again before i see NWH tonight. Truly appreciated this
Thank you for the recap! I missed out on most of these movies and I’m gonna watch the new film tonight. After the way you summarized them, I definitely want to go back and revisit the Toby McGuire films and watch the Andrew Garfield ones. This was very helpful and interesting!
True factoid, in the Toby Mcguire Spiderman during the wrestling scene as shown here, the actual wrestler was macho man randy savage, and he broke his neck shooting this exact scene causing him to have to eventually retire from pro wrestling and get strung out on pain meds and alcohol which he eventually died in a wreck in his vehicle after crashing it while nodding off.
Thank you so much! I'm currently in theaters about to watch the movie, and this will help a lot during the movie I'm sure 😅. This was such an amazing high quality video too!
I am very new to the Marvel Avengers star wars world like I don't even know what's the difference in the them and which superhero belongs to which group!! But my friend is forcefully taking me for no way home tomorrow so this was a wonderful recap of all the things , I got to know the villains and love interests so thank you for such a wonderful video ❤️
Thank you I really appreciate it like I’ve crammed 3 Spider-Man movies (Toby Maguire) in a day and I just can’t watch anymore. I’m watching it no way home tomorrow so thanks again!!!
A disclaimer/warning would be appreciated when revealing the premise of the new movie. Although this may be common knowledge with a few internet searches, it was not clear from the movie’s trailer. Thanks for spoiling the catalyst for No Way Home.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! i bought tickets for me & my boyfriend to go tomorrow because he’s loves spider-man. im not into that stuff but i wanna learn for him but i don’t think i have the time or attention span to watch all the movies
I’ve just finally caught up on all the Spider-Man movies so I’m fully ready to see No Way Home! I knew it was rumoured that all 3 Spidermen appeared in No Way Home but now that I know it actually happened I’m so excited to see it! I’ve always been a Spider-Man fan, I watched the cartoons as a child before the first movies even came out. I will always love the original Tobey Maguire Spider-man the most but I also loved Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man too. I will NEVER forget watching TASM2 in the cinema and crying my eyes out when Gwen died. To be honest I lost interest in Spider-Man when I heard they were doing it yet again with Tom Holland. I never watched his Spider-Man movies because I didn’t understand why they just kept remaking it but idk if it was the plan all along to merge them together in a multiverse or not but now that I know this happens it reignited my love for Spider-Man. Once I heard that the 3 actually meet in No Way Home I knew I had to see it. But I also knew that meant getting caught up on Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. So queue me spending the last 2 days watching Homecoming and Far From Home and getting enough backstory from Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame through UA-cam recaps without having to actually watch the films for the whole context (bc tbh I’m only interested in Spider-Man not the whole MCU universe. I like Iron Man and I’ve seen all of those movies but I’m just not interested in any of the rest of the avengers or guardians of the galaxy ect ect.) So now after watching all 3 of Maguire’s Spider-Man movies, the 2 Garfield Spider-Man movies, and now getting enough context to watch the 2 Holland Spider-Man movies I am SO ready to see No Way Home. I plan to see it in the cinema this weekend and I can’t wait!!!
thanks great recap , i mean i watched a mcu movies , all the spidermans from back toby, but jus wanted a refresher before i watch no way home.thanks again great video brought everything back
I’ve never seen Tobey’s (I know) but now seeing this. Tobey had the best movies with the writing, canon, and villains. Andrew was the best spiderman! And Tom has a mixture of both!! I now can’t choose between the three. They all have features that if one possessed them all, it would create the perfect Spider-Man
I’m glad I watched this after lol It was a surprise to me that all 3 spider man’s ended up in the same universe since they didn’t specify that in the trailers. Of course people would’ve probably guessed it but it was a nice surprise to anyone who didn’t expect it
Yea I am genuinely glad for you because I thought this was a recap of the old movies, not a spoiler for the new one. I let this guy spoil a pretty special surprise 20 years in the making. 😭

Thanks a lot for this wrap up of Spider Man movies. But you could have been a bit slower. I had to pause and listen again carefully at few places. I then reduced the speed to .75 and completed this video.
Im glad that everything turned out alright making this Spiderman movie and not like in the first one with Tobey Maguire, where somebody died while making the festival set and then all the $50.000 dollar Spiderman costumes where stolen from their storage place, which caused the movie much longer to be released from it's original release date.
Holland's Peter is bigger Flash Thompson than the Flash Thompson in the movie lol... and also that zendaya, so hard to watch. Most original for me was the first Spider-Man. Tobey. True to the bone.
