This so valuable! I'm just a city boy and I gotta tow my girlfriends car with a uhaul over a thousand miles. I imagine this will save me a load of hassle and keep us safe! Thank you sir 🙏
Glad to hear it helped
Update. We are alive haha thank you so much 😀
@@dagnabbitwabbit always good to be alive
Were you born and raised in south Detroit?😅
Watched this the other night before I had to help my boss load a hay baler onto a 26 foot utility trailer in the morning and mannn it sure helped! It took some getting used to since it was my first time ever hauling anything. The wide turns took some getting used to but man I tell ya even my boss was impressed by how good I was driving it. Thank you so much! Amazing video.
Great to hear Yahir, thank you. I'm glad it worked out so well.
Your video was very helpful. I loved your tip about holding the bottom of the steering wheel. I'm a noob to this and this was exactly what I was looking for.
Great to hear, thank you
I like the hold the bottom of the steering wheel.
I will keep rewatching this video! Im about to buy my first trailer for a business im opening and i needed something like this to learn haha
Good luck
Junk removal or lawn care?
Very informative. Thank you.
Thank you putting this out there. I wasn't sure if i needed to know more before getting a travel trailer. This helped.
Glad it helped
Thanks for this. Just got a trailer, and this knowledge is very helpful.

Good info for my very first search for this! Thanks!
Glad to hear that
Thank you. Just got my first trailer for small loads from Home Depot with my sedan. I’m a little nervous but I’m going to practice tonight at the parking lot on my street with help from your video.
Good luck

Good to hear, thank you
Nice and sweet, thank you
Glad you liked it
Incredibly impressed with the quality of this video, sir. Never had a dad to teach me this stuff, so this has been invaluable. The drone really elevated this video as well. Thank you
Thank you
Thank you very much, you are a lifesaver! I was driving it for the first time and I did it like a pro, the in-laws are impressed. Thank you, thank you and thank you again 🙏🏽
Great to hear
My family and I like to go Glamping. We went from a Class A to 29ft. liveable toyhauler, and it is great, but I have always had a hard time towing. My husband is always afraid to let me drive, and I found this video so incredibly helpful and gives me the confidence to give it a try. Thank you! 😊
Great to hear,
This is amazing. Thank you
Thank you
very good and full of information.Thanks.
Thank you
I was actually looking up "how to drive a tiller" like those fire trucks with the back wheel that steers too for tight corners in big cities and this came up on accident so i gave it a chance and all my years of driving trailers never heard the hand on the bottom of the wheel trick I'm gunna use that if i ever have to teach someone thanks!
Thank you
Thank you for this. I will use the hand on the bottom of the wheel tip tomorrow.
Great, drive safe
Thank you it really help me alot
Glad to hear it
I've seen the hand at the base of the steering wheel tip on quite a few vids. I have a 5k pound catering-trailer I'm going to be using a lot so this video will really help!
Good to hear
The wife and I just reminded ourselves just how hard this can be. Thanks for the video ;)
It is hard and takes a lot of practice
Great information.👍
Thank you
Thank you teacher❤
Glad it helped
Thanks for the video, I’m supposed to tow my zero turn on Monday and I’ve never towed before. Here’s to learning!
Good luck, just go slow
@@topsaw thought I’d come back and thank you, It couldn’t have went better. I even had to reverse a bit and did a pretty decent job
@@ThePuddyj great to hear
Thank you sir.
Thanks for watching
Thank you sir. I just got a job where I'll need to know all of this.
Glad it helped
Well hot damn! Just learned more from your video than I did from any one else I knew.
Good to hear
Great video..looking to buy a 6 by 10 utility trailer. Need tips
Thank you, best tip is practice backing it up before you need to
Awesome
Thank you
Cool use of the drone. Good tips. A good tip: when hauling a load keep a couple of car lengths in front of you for stopping.
That is a very good tip
When reversing keep "one hand" at the bottom of the steering wheel verses on the top of the steering wheel. Just more easier if you easily get confused with turning right or left when reversing. Slow a steady wins the race.
Great info. 👍 I did really want to see how to drive in cities and make turning safely and correctly. Please can you give us info on that? We have never driven a trailer. Thanks
Practice in a big empty parking lot
I bought a 12 foot Jon boat. Have little experience with a trailer on the back. I'm not going to lie, I am a little nervous. Thanks for posting and wish me luck.
Good luck, practice in a large parking lot with no other cars in it.
thanks
Thank you
This is primo info brother. I'd love to get a "trailer" word count 😂
Ps. Here due to me fibbing about my trailer skills to my co-workers. Got called out real quick ha
Trailer
Great tips. But here goes a question, Im gonna drive from MA to NC towing a medium trailer from Uhaul and Im gonna have to stop to rest, how should I deal with that? If Im stopping on a motel how I park without being a problem for other customers? Shall I unhook the trailer? Any advice would be great sir.
I would look for pull through parking, I wouldn't disconnect
I pulled a 6 x 12 uhaul trailer from CA to FL. Now that I am fired I need to move everything back but this time I will drive 3000 miles like a pro.
Drive safe
When driving on main roads, do I need to adjust my turning when driving with a trailer?
Depends on the width and length of trailer compared to width of vehicle. Yes need to swing much wider
So I’m gonna be driving eight passenger van it’s gonna carry 13 people plants have a small trailer behind that van what are some important tips that I need to know about Grasso headed to the smoky mountains so it’s up hill and down hill
Take it really slow and check brakes frequently.
Everybody can drive a trailer front ways. Its the
backing which lots of people have trouble with.
!
Very true
Styx’s music in the background , that is good taste my friend 🍻
Love Styxs
@@topsaw listening to Styxs while living out in the sticks! lol

You took classes in college with the truck what state yet live in Stockton California.
It was a tractor driving class
@@topsaw I don't think we have classes in college for that. Equally important they have a bachelor's degree in Logistics but unsure if they teach u how to drive. I believe a driving school can teach but it's private. Usually more expensive than college.
When backing up a trailer and the rear end is too far from one end.
Turn your wheel that direction and hold it. Not too much if its a minor maneuver
Good advice

Thank you
This video would knock it out of the park if you could do a picture in picture showing the overhead drone shot simultaneously with a shot of what the steering wheel is doing.
Great feedback, I'll try and do a remake doing exactly that. Thank you
