Celebrate the Summer Solstice with an unboxing of the Sunspotter Solar Telescope by Science First

The Science First brand Sunspotter Solar Telescope is a wonderful tool for indirectly viewing the sun and celebrate the Summer Solstice this year June 20. Using a simple set of two lenses and three mirrors, the triangular light path provides a large, clear view of the sun reflected on paper. Plus the beautifully designed and built Sunspotter is a piece of art on its own.

I got the deal too, but mine came with a defective primary lens. It has a bubble in the lens, or rather a divot, a dimple, so I always have a sun spot.
