If you watch the version from 12-2-17, when she hits the whistles at 1:53..... they're completely different. There's no way these are lipped, they're not the same notes, the melody is even different. She's singing those live as hell.
I dunno what you were expecting but it was a CHRISTMAS SHOW 😂 If you wanted the other songs maybe you should of went last year I did and I'm glad I got something different this time 😁
Bored? There was full on entertainment not only from Mariah but the kids, the choir, the dancers the whole way through - I thought it was far from boring!
This wasn't just a normal concert it was a full on show, and I'm certainly not pissed I paid to go - it was full on entertainment and myself and everyone around me was loving it!
@NekoPetrovsky totally agree with your sentiment about certain shows being an event itself! But I will point out here that with this show there certainly wasn't playback - it was all Mariah and her three backing vocalists with a live band. I'd honestly think it's safe to bet the only song there was playback for during the whole show was the bells in backing for "All I Want For Christmas". She's got a lot of slack in recent years for her vocals but it seems like she's back on top form at the minute and sounded better than she has in a while now - so impressive! (And I agree - even if she would've been lipping the whole show it still would've been amazing to be in the presence of a legend!)
If you knew how legendary Mariah was I would pay to see her without thinking. She's amazing and I respect her very much. Sucks to see people talking shit when they don't know what a legend she is and how she revolutionized pop music.

The version from 9 December in Paris is quite different also (the whistle she does after she sits on one of the dancers)
