No country(or very less countries ) treats marriages as festivals as we do in India.
It's not just family but in some cases entire communities and more gather and enjoy and have a happy time .
The couple will remember this forever .

    You missed *Sangeet* ceremony 😅
Also Tilak ceremony... which is a kind of engagement, but not a ring ceremony.
Sometimes, Ring ceremony engagement could happen months ago the actual Tilak & marriage.
One more thing...in indian marriage, jewelleries & outfits for brides are very heavy and extraaa 😂
Even other girls dress up their best during weddings.
I have seen that in Korean weddings, guests dress in very simple manner.
But not in Indian wedding 😂

In Bengali wedding there is no Sangeet or mehendi.. though after watching Bollywood movies in last 2 decades Bengali weddings also having mehendi a day before wedding day..but actually in day before wedding day we have compulsory "aiburobhat" rituals.. "Aiburo" means bachelor, "bhat" means rice..so the aiburobhat is the eating the last dinner as a bachelor , and eat should be treated by groom's own mom, and bride's own mom in there personal house.

Indian weddings are different region wise, in Bengal brides wear benarasi saree, where as the grooms wear dhoti on the wedding day. India is diverse in every possible way you could ever think of, our language, eateries, attires change in every 100 km. ❤❤

In North India giving money to parents of groom or bride (from whose side you are invited as a guest) is a mandatory feature.. its called SHAGUN and is usually given in traditional envelop called SHAGUN KA LIFAFA 😅 with your name & family name written on it ..and the amount is given in auspicious considered numerical like eg Rs 501, 1001, 5100 so on .....

In India we obviously do have wedding halls in hotels, party halls with large open ground ( if anyone wants to celebrate ceremony in open area), even in temple wedding happens and some temple committee builds separate halls for ceremonies and partys, and wedding happes in house premises as some people do have bigger plots and space to celebrate any party at home itself.

In the Indian wedding the bride and groom should be in fasting for the day until the wedding ends. As all the Bengali weddings complete at mid night so bride, and groom almost have to keep the fasting untill mid night, almost for 24hours. Only bride and groom can drink water for the whole day, until the ending rituals complete , which completes after mid night, mostly after mid night 3o'clock..😢😢

A very hurriedly made video….please don’t do this in excitement….I mean firstly comparing Indian traditions with any other country’s traditions is very unfair to both the countries, as most of the countries are mono cultural and India on other hand has multi culture/ multi traditions/ multi linguistic/ multi customs/ multi rituals/ multi ethnicity/ multi dimensional in everything……..now here with all due respect and only rationally speaking, Korea has a very small cultural component in its society left today….and comparing one of the main events like marriage culturally is pretty unfair for both the countries……as an Indian I would like to inform that part of Indian marriages in your video is very hollow & incomplete & at places miss information……please don’t do this on impulse….writing Indian/India does get one high number of views on video, for sure…it’s a known fact but don’t get carried away.

Sanatan Culture ( Hindu Sikhs Buddhists Jain Aarya Samaj & Iskcon)
All Recognised 6 types of Marriage
Arranged & Love both Marriage are Pure & Fully Accepted by Scriptures
    but
Indian marriage is not just between male and female, its more about
matching both families Traditional Food, Traditional Culture, Traditional Festival, Language, Traditional family Entrepreneurship, Family Jurisdiction,
    like
Punjabi & Jain can get married but Punjabi are more like nonveg & drink but Jain don't even touch
my family is Kshtriya but now we Are Farmer ( Kshudra ) if i married Other farmers family than they can help me and their daughter knows our custom value language festival & Home grown traditional business structure
but if i marriage with goldsmith, barber or other business stream family than both male female have to learn traditions customs festival etc
Sanatan Marriage is bonding with both families
Divorce rate is low because family comes first
and arrange marriage covered all aspects to proper bonding with both families

Then next we proceed direct marriage. This save a lot of money. I am happy with my tradition. We can have a grant marriage with 15 lakhs but I think this is not possible in most of Indian ritual as they have so many rituals

No wedding process can come close to Hindu tradition of marriage because we believe in growing old together for us it not casual and in normal it is bad to have divorce beside that pre nuptial process we had lot of things ....and it is serious matter in India....no matter how poor but they will do much more than there standard....I had the opportunity of attending multiple ethnic marrirage ...I had attended korean wedding...Irish wedding...American weddings....and in India many communties as I had friends from many regions in India and all the customs is quite different....but the essence of Hindu marrirage is quite same...the process is quite tiring for both the families and for the couple....and it is marriage of families not indiviual ....now with nuclear families it is changing hence a lot of divorce cases filed....being modern doesnot mean to get divorce and carry out for indepedence...at the end how indepedent any one can be but the fatigue of living alone and restarting again is quite challenging mentally...
