Korean weddings are more like a half day event while Indian weddings are full blown festivals ranging almost a week so there is no comparison it all comes down to preference but as a Indian nothing other than Indian weddings felt like weddings.✌️✌️
In India we obviously do have wedding halls in hotels, party halls with large open ground ( if anyone wants to celebrate ceremony in open area), even in temple wedding happens and some temple committee builds separate halls for ceremonies and partys, and wedding happes in house premises as some people do have bigger plots and space to celebrate any party at home itself.

In Nagaland state of India, there is also a reception house or small stall type to receive gifts or money. There they registered how much money was given by whom, and which gift was given by whom.
Showing their attendance and giving money, gold as gift is also there in southern india in telugu states we call it as "kattatha" maybe it will be followed in other states also mostly in south india i think
Giving money to the respective groom or bride parents is common in North also (depends on whose side you are attending the wedding) it's called "SHAGUN" and the amount is usually in Shagun numbers like eg 501, 2011, 1001 so on!

Imagine ... in the modern day " Heo Hwang -ok " and "king Suro" .. how are there wedding ceremonies.. what coustom are they followed.🤗.. India+Korea 😊🥰😍
In india we also have introduction ceremony in arrenge marriege where two family meet each other ...then we have ceremonies called "cheka" where we give permission by gifting cloths and money and some fruits to boy and girl for marriage its very personal ceremonies only family members are included or some times only parents then we go for engagement where we officially announce boy and girl as couple then move ahead for marriage ceremony
In the Indian wedding the bride and groom should be in fasting for the day until the wedding ends.
