How ironic that Brooke used to lay into Amber for keeping secrets from Rick and now she's begging Amber to keep a secret from Rick. This ties into what I said yesterday: the dynamic between Amber and Brooke has flipped. Brooke is now the one with a scandalous baby secret that could rip her family apart and Amber is now the one "at the top of the stairs" who can look down on her.
Yes! Today's episode confirms everything you said yesterday about the shift in the dynamic between Brooke and Amber. And the connection between them is reinforced today when they both talk about the experience of being pregnant. Also note how, in a parallel scene, the dynamic between Rick and Deacon has shifted as well, so that the two of them also find common ground because they are both fathers to Little Eric.
So I guess slicking down Rick's hair is supposed to make us think he's an executive? He still looks like a little boy playing dress up in his father's suit
A year ago Megan said that Brooke and Thorne were the real thing. Two months ago she said that Brooke and Ridge are the real thing. And now Brooke and DEACON are the real thing!!! Give me a break Megan, Brooke is not in love, she was horny because Ridge turned her down. Brooke and Deacon are the defenition of a fling until Ridge is available again. 😅
@@chowmarina008I have no idea why they have this employee all up in non employee related business. I'm sure there is lots of outstanding filing. Megan did say one true thing though. Deacon needs to acknowledge his own child. Hiding the baby's paternity forever, and letting the child grow up fatherless, won't solve anything.
@@JanetWashington-ph6dzthey really didn't need Megan as such a main character bc they be just made her annoying. They could have brought back either of Brooke's sisters who condone everything Brooke does and just tell her what she wants to hear anyway
8:13 the way Amber describes the exact Ridge situation (bc she thought it was Ridge) but it's the exact scenario with Deacon. And Brooke doesn't realise that she really needs some serious psychiatric help??
Megan has honestly become this show's biggest villain. Her moral compass is even more skewed than Brooke's. At least Brooke understands that sleeping with her daughter's husband is a betrayal. Megan just sees it as a small mistake that Brooke's made on the road to getting her "destiny".
Megan most have fallen and hit her head in one of the episodes we did not get to see, because she has lost it. They should have put her with someone though, beautiful.
I haven’t watched yet and will probably skip because of Amber, but how does Brooke think her unfortunate growth can be concealed from the people she lives with?
Who else remembers these same kinda storylines from all soap operas from the late 90s and early 2000s, because he was still addicted to television back then? From votes of board meetings, to foursomes of double dating. Rose D'Angelo got the vote from Barbara Ryan if I'm not mistaken, if she'd stop seeing her son Paul. CJ, Kimberly, Amber and Rick where a foursome with desires for someone else in the group, just like Billy, Brittany, Raul and Mackenzie on Y&R. Oh, and don't forget the similarities of DOOL. Kristen had Marlena locked up in a wine cellar, just like how Morgan locked Taylor up in her home.
ITA with the ones that say the damage/betrayal is already done (to Bridget and the baby). The best they call an do is to do damage control and be honest with Bridget. Ending the marriage won't undo what has happened, but it could get much worse if Bridget now gets pregnant too and has a child permanently connecting her to the man who betrayed her with her mother and who forever shares a child with her mother.
Megan does have one vaIid point. It is not right for Deacon not to acknowledge his own child. As it is, this child _exists_ and Deacon has a responsibility as a parent to let his son or daughter know who he is and to have a relationship with him or her. And this is clearly what Deacon _wants_ to do - in spite of his fIaws, he has actually grown into a good father to Little Eric, and wants to be a good father to this baby too, but Brooke won't let him because of how it would disrupt _her_ life. What Brooke is doing, trying to keep the paternity of the child a secret indefinitely, can never work. One way or another, the truth will come out. And when it does, the least thing Brooke and Deacon can do is make sure that the child has access to both its parents. Their betrayaI of Bridget is already done and can't be undone. But taking away the new baby's father is another betrayaI that they don't have to do.
Amber called Brooke “grandma”, asked if she was feeling better and Brooke said no. 😂
