Couldn't give us specs? That's what most
of us came for. Curb weight (fuel oil), wheelbase,
torque, hp, clearance, seat height, wheel travel front
and rear. Answered no questions in 8 months, didn't
give us the specs we came for, how do you

If the seat height is the same as a 300 these kinda bikes don’t really make sense to me.
Yeah but that’s not the point. 125s have been the sam size for years. They’re killer bikes. Great for learning the fundamentals of riding. It’s really easy to fall in the trap of just buying a 300 when spending a few years on a 125/150 really can benefit you’re riding
Great discussion. My nephew is 12 and is on a KX 100. At 15 we are going directly to KTM 300. Why would he move to a 125?
@@tonyahinkle1014he should get a 125 because he will learn the fundamentals of a full sized bike. They are bigger and heavier, and with something like a 125 he can focus on the size more than also having to deal with big bike power at the same time. When he’s in the top ranks of 125 then jump to 300.

What is the dry weight on the 125?
I read that it was 157 dry, which doesn't sound
right to me, my guess is 190 wet, which would but
it at about 175 dry... hard to say , not a lot of info
that I can find. I just emailed Sherco, I'm not expecting
an answer from there either lol...

I've gotten 3 or 4 responses from dealers, nothing
from Sherco, I've been quoted from 147 dry to 210 dry.
The most Plausible answer I've gotten was this one;
'' 209.4 lbs and add 2.7 gallons of gas and a liter of oil and
½ gallon of coolant the bike should be in the 236-240lb range
full of all fluids ready to ride.''
I'd love to believe the lighter weights quoted, but without weighing
one or hearing from Sherco, I'll assume the worst, worst being that it's
just as heavy as all the other bikes on the market, and 240lbs isn't
light imv, I already have one in that range lol. This spec quote could still
be off, but at 209lbs dry which sounds right,
the bike is likely going to come in at 226-230 Lbs + - if not 240lbs.

Sherco claims 95kg dry. It's like 220lb weight. There's was a video somewhere, someone put on a scale..
