Everything the lady said is true. It's wonderful to see a marriage like this - a middle class family whose son and daughter-in-law chose each other over hellish ordeals (I can only imagine!!!) and made their marriage work. They fit each other really well. Clearly the daughter-in-law loves her husband's family. She is wise in every single word she said. Take my word for it. She's right about the stereotyping bit where she says not to study too much about a country. Wise indeed. I can say this with ease in that her daughter will be raised well. The baby's grand father will relent at some point and realise that the best thing that ever happened to their family was this daughter-in-law. yep you are 101% correct. i don't know the fact that how exactly Korean family system works but being an Indian i can sure you that a Indian boy has lots of obligation to fulfill towards his family. Indian family system is very strong so after marriage boys responsibility, obligation, onus is divides with his better half and girls are suppose to be more devoted to their in laws rather than her own parents and family.......so the sacrifice is made by a girl is far more than a boy in Hindu tradition ......so keeping this in mind this Korean lady deserves love respect and every good thing in this world......god bless both of them.

Hmm i was also a follower of korean dramas and stuff thinking that what they show in K dramas is so nice .so they all would be obviously so ..... Yes Good and kind hearted people do exist in korea but it seems not all are good.there . According to many google searches it seems to be one of the most racial and judging society ...with a strong dislike for dark skinned people and unrealistic expectations of status and beauty standards etc .Even some youtube videos mention this. Not only some of the* not so good* seem to give too much weightage to skin colour but also body structure / wealth /status etc and even seem to make fun of whom they perceive as inferior to them . ..(Like only the same status people or same colour skinned people would mingle freely and others would be left out .or made fun of .that too even in places like schools which are meant for all unity and equality .. ) . .I changed my opinion and accepted that while good koreans do exist ....there are some who look down too much upon others. The Indian and the Korean society are actually both very conservative and similar,, I’m an Indian who has observed Korean culture for a long time now. Also the Korean people here look like the people of the north eastern part of India. I just hope the societies of both parties accept them.

I used to like korea and thought koreans were kind but not anymore.They speak bad things about a country that they have never seen just from information they have from medias who find pleasure showing bad things.I am not saying India is all perfect and all but all but at least treat us as humans. Hey cmon, I am a brahmin and I will face no problem if I marry a girl in different caste. This is true for many people in my caste I know. Stop stereotyping. I love India - there are some of the most beautiful people and landscapes I've seen in the North and South. Their customs are almost other worldly and insightful. Like all places they have their issues, but for the most part my experience was one i will never forget.

In Hinduism,it's all about tolerance & freedom. If a non Hindu girl marries a Hindu man,she doesn't need to change her religion or stop following her culture. Hindus can marry anyone without changing her identity which we get to see in Islam. We are not tied by any sort of rules. We believe in keeping our opposite partner happy. Everything the lady said is true. It's wonderful to see a marriage like this - a middle class family whose son and daughter-in-law chose each other over hellish ordeals (I can only imagine!!!) and made their marriage work. They fit each other really well. Clearly the daughter-in-law loves her husband's family. She is wise in every single word she said. Take my word for it. She's right about the stereotyping bit where she says not to study too much about a country. Wise indeed. I can say this with ease in that her daughter will be raised well. The baby's grand father will relent at some point and realise that the best thing that ever happened to their family was this daughter-in-law.

yep you are 101% correct. i don't know the fact that how exactly Korean family system works but being an Indian i can sure you that a Indian boy has lots of obligation to fulfill towards his family. I fell in love with Korean culture when i was a kid and i always wanted to visit Korea. Bur reading the comments here has changed my mind. I know good people do exist there but the racism in these comments is beyond belief. Imagine being racist in this day and age. To all the Koreans commenting racist stuff, how does it feel to be an ignorant racist in this day and age? its horrible.. I always thought Korea was beautiful but if this is what they are like towards people of different skin color then i never wanna go there. Sad
