I think Taleen begged Brooks to be on the show, but Taleen has always been aware of Brooks nasty side and has been quick to call Brooks out on her nasty side. Taleen can't really say she has not seen this side of Brooks, when we all saw her in season one and know she is a drunk. Taleen really has not been a friend to Brooks, but she makes it easy for people to drop kick her. I think Sergio and Stan could have their own spin off, they are just the most weirdest couple on planet earth!
Remember, in a previous episode, Brooks took a conversation and repeated it, according to her, based on her interpretation of events. Not how it happened, but how she perceived it.

Brooks held on tight to Stanbury becuase she knew Bravo started the show for Stanbury so to your point Brooks you all Essentially begged/befriended to be on here. 2 I do believe Brooks did the Jen Shah thing by taking advantage of Taleens money, wardrobe and access in exchange filmed scenes with Taleen last year.
