From what I have viewed I have the following points:
1. The washing machine detergent used appears far to much seeing the extra foam. A simple test would be to wash less than 2.00 kgs clothes on Quick wash mode (30 minutes) WITHOUT ADDING ANY DETERGENT. If you see any hint of residual detergent foam then you can be sure the earlier lot of clothes washed would have traces of soap.
2. Cotton garments, even sanforised cotton will always have a degree of wrinkles because of the inherent qualities of the fiber which CANNOT BE REMOVED. It is also advisable not to activate Steam mode with a high Spin RPM for Cotton garments.
3. The fancy words of anti tangle, Stain remover and Mixed fabric identification are misleading. Anti tangle is nothing more than repeated clockwise and anti clockwise rotations which may work for SMALL GARMENTS but will certainly NOT give the claimed results for Sheets, Towels, i.e. large sized articles mixed with small sized articles. Try it and see for yourself the results. Stain removal mode in a Washing machine again is a myth because here the stain should NOT have seeped into the material and dried. How many times has one immediately machine washed a freshly stained article. Common example are tea stains and blood. Again, try these dried stained articles using Anti stain mode and see the results for yourself. Different Fabric identification by a machine is specious in claim as there is NO WASHING MACHINE IN THE WORLD that can identify different blends of material (mixed load). The machine has presets (for mixed fabric) for weight, time setting, spin selection etc and accordingly determines wash. There will be NO difference in the wash quality had either Cotton, Synthetic or Mixed fabric modes been selected.

I have the 2023 Bosch washing machine and experimented your observations. You are absolutely right regarding soap residue from the previous wash. I suppose experience will demonstrate the right amount of detergent. I will also try the Stain removal capability on Stains that have seeped in(on old clothes)

It doesn’t matter as when you will sun dry it, it will be tangle free and perfect

As I mentioned in my video. These features are not required for day to day wash. It's for specific type of clothes where you don't want them to tangle during the wash. Sometime clothes get so much twisted together during the wash and spin process it's usefull there.
