Love or hate Stephanie. Susan Flannery is such a remarkably talented actress. She draws you in always with her performances and I believe she was in a class of her own on this show. She was the Bold and the Beautiful to me and her portrayal of the unique and complex character of Stephanie was truly awesome. The show died with Stephanie in my opinion. Cant watch it now, its just musical beds and very boring characters.
This is my favorite episode because it reveled how Stephanie hit rock bottom and rose up from it again. The don't make beautiful scenes of acting like this on B&B anymore. Everything from 2012 onwards just pure boredom and garbage, Brad Bell killed the essence of this show with his stupid ideas and bad writing.
I love the fact that they acknowledged that Eric was involved with other women before brook, brook was just the first one he left stephenie for .and I love that stephenie is taking responsibility for ignoring the intimacy issues in their marriage. I mean am not excusing Eric for his part, because it's obvious he went looking for intimacy and passion he was missing in his marriage instead of fixing his marriage and trying to bring those things back. Stephenie always spent so much energy fighting the women that Eric took up with but they were the symptoms of what was broken with their relationship and had she spent as much energy trying to fix their relationship the brooks of the world will never have happened. Anyway I love the stephenie/ brook rivalry so am glad stephenie never had the epiphany she is having now.
You don't know what broke first in this relationship. Eric's interest in other women because of the lack of intimacy, or Stephanie's refusal to be close and affectionate because of her disappointment with her husband and his ignorance? Both are entitled to their feelings and just because he wanted her in bed doesn't mean she should have given in to him just because he feels like it when she doesn't feel it. There was a beautiful moment between the two on Big Bear, which resulted from the fact that they had previously talked very intimately and felt close again. Perhaps this has been lost in the day-to-day running of the company. But that's probably not the fault of either of them.
Then she should be home spending time with her husband not out paying doctors to fake a heart attack for her, framing people for murder and getting a woman raped by telling a man she did not even know, where the woman lived and how to get into her house and what time to go there. Which if I remember correctly is what led to this separation. I can feel sorry for a woman whose husband has left her for sure but not Stephanie. She's done too much to her own family and others
They were raised as uncle and niece/step brother and sister. Now they're getting married. As it's also surprising considering how much they write that steffy hates the Logan's and she was almost one
It's an absolute stupid rewrite to say they were women before Brooke /Beth or to suggest that. Because it's untrue. Eruc was from the beginning on cold and distance to Stephanie, when she tried to work on their problems and the marriage. She wanted for a long time intimacy and sex not he kept on hurting her and leaving her for younger women. And why wouldn't she fight with the women who rampage through her family. For the life of me I would never put up with that.
Yeah that’s a stupid rewrite. Watching from the beginning Eric was never with anyone other than the woman he loved in college, Beth and they never were sexually intimate
Exactly. Eric was right when he said she started fights and then picked sides. She shield if worried about her own life than controlling everyone else's life
@@gugugal1211 but from her own analysis brook was never really the root cause of their problems, she was simply a symptom, and instead of treating the disease which was what was missing in their marriage she looked the other way when he went looking to fulfill that need somewhere else as long as he didn't leave her, until brook then he made brook the issue and still did treat the disease and what that lead to was the shiela and donna.
This is one of Stephanie's best scenes, sounded so heartfelt!!! Nick was a good choice to be in this episode with her!!!
I loved Nick in this storyline. He was so patient and compassionate towards Stephanie.
Excelling acting from both Susan Flannery and Jack Wagner. They should have never get rid of him!
I agree. Nick was an interesting character and Jack Wagner a terrific actor
Great acting from Susan Flannery and Jack Wagner in this episode.
Stephanie telling the history of her marriage was heartbreaking . Many women before Brooke. WOW Erics a Jerk!! Susan Flannery acting is supernatural
This storyline is perfect Stephanie your character is versatile STEPHANIE THE POWERFUL WOMAN its so inspired

She definitely is the bold and the beautiful
Yes I agree

They never reveal he was with other women in the beginning of the series. I think it’s a retcon

Veery true Stephanie these should be your golden years with Eric.

Nick is wonderful compared to ridge
I agree with Nick. Eric is a wimp.
Ridge is a wimp too!

I agree with Nick, Eric is a wimp
This was the beginning of them losing the company
They stop listening to and looking out for each other, so obsessed with children's life. Control freak
Exactly
I wonder if that's a real book you could have actually bought back then or if it's just a problem that would be cool to have as a novelty item
If anybody should have been fired its the Logan's starting with Brooke!

Rick and steffy weeeeeeding i am dead really???
But you will wish you would not have fired her, Eric.
I never liked Eric !!
This what happens when you r polygamist
A prop
Stephanie acting like a victim, she should’ve cared more about Eric than controlling everything and everybody
Even if you care or not care about some one they gonna do what they want eventually
Exactly. Eric was right when he said she started fights and then picked sides. She shield if worried about her own life than controlling everyone else's life
She had a reason to try and get Brooke out of her familys lives.
