Nice informative video - I think those look good on there. Gives me ideas for my 4100... Make a video on the process of loading the rear tires when you get around to it.

Is water inside a tire normal? Wouldn't that rust the rim from the inside out?

It's pretty normal. The proper way to do it would be to use windshield washer fluid, antifreeze, or even better Rim Guard. Water with some oil mixed in should prevent rust. That being said, rust should only happen if the wheel is exposed to air and water- which it's not. I've never had the inside of any wheels rust, as you can see in the video. Thanks for watching!

Wow, great job with the hole cutter man, brillant idea, I like it. Yeah the grinder thing never works. I think the tires should work fine, the only difference is the weight rating and side wall strength at a particular psi. Meaning tractor tires are usually low psi, while those truck tires will require higher psi to make the sidewall stiff. At least that's what I would figure. Good job getting the tires on and off, those are BIG TIRES Luke!!😜😜🤣🤣 Now the only other issue I would worry about was what you mentioned about the MFWD. The rear tires have to be basically the same exact size as what's coming off. And tires are like shoes, they are never what they say they are. If you got that equation right, you shouldn't have any issues.

I have a feeling they’re gonna be just fine. The size is the same, and there is no scuffing when using the MFWD on pavement. I wouldn’t drain liquid filled tires I was intending to keep that way, but last time I changed liquid filled tires I had 20 gallons of liquid on the floor of my shop when I broke the bead. I figured I would just drain them the fast way. Thanks for watching!

@@LukesJohnDeereGarage Yeah, the hole cutter was a A grade idea.

Looks good! I'm curious if you measured the actual outside diameter of both tires to see if the new ones were close to the original. I have the same tractor and have wondered about doing this also.

Holding them side by side, they seemed to be the exact same size uninflated. It’s awfully hard to tell with the originals being so worn. I wouldn’t hesitate to do it again!

How are these LT tires working out (was hoping to see a review)? I'm thinking of doing the same on a 3000 lb kioti but to get an extra set of unloaded turf/rear rims for summer/lawn use, and keeping loaded R14/rims for winter/land clearing use.

They seem to perform great. Good traction and no weight issues. Thanks for watching.
