What he does is that he runs this joi rebel group and he likes tossing bombs at amanto government buildings he is also being chased by the shinsengumi, he has a pet named Elizabeth and a friend with white hair with a wooden sword named Gintoki

The author said on Twitter that she was taking a break in order to regain her strength to prevent such a situation from happening again, since there have been many cases in the past few years of "working too hard and then collapsing and taking a break. " I apologize if I didn't convey the meaning as I am using a translation.
Its insane how good you're at recreating these themes. If the OSTs were out I would 100% think these are the originals and have "cover" in the title only to avoid copyright strikes, because they sound JUST like in the show

I know that the manga has stopped updating recently but idk the reason as well
The manga stopped because of a recent spike of Covid. The writer wants to keep their staff safe until it calms down again
