"how am i supposed to sing a bass line with him out there- i- *bob*."
-_avi kaplan, 2014_
He said Bop not Bob lol
...i knew that...
...its bop
HE CALLS HIS CELLO BEYONCÉ
he's adorable
It's because of the curves
The sound of two guys with really deep voices talking to eachother is so calming.
Avi fangirling was maybe the cutest thing I've ever seen ever?
I thought Avi said that "It's not notes anymore, it's... hurts."
Then I realized he meant Hertz. :P
ahhhh that makes much more sense!! i thought the same haha =p #non-nativeenglishproblems ._.
it's not even Hertz... it's like 0.189Hz Tim Storms is ridiculous, they should have invited him on stage to sing bass with Avi. Can anyone say 6th member of PTX
John Morton penta actually means five
yes I understand this but to feature the worlds lowest bass in a show would be awesome
hahahah yeah
Avi- "The crowd were yelling at us...but in a nice way!" 😊😂✨
glittergal when did he said?? I can't find it 🤔🤔
And that's when a celebrity becomes a fangirl 😂😂
Okay! It's official! I'm naming my cello Kevin.
Avi fangirling a Tim Storms was the cutest thing ever. I loved seeing behind the Say Something shoot.
Literally, the fact that they pray before every show and say thanks is just so...adorable and I am smiling so much. They're so grateful
hahahahaha the avi fangirling over tim storms!
When Mitch sees Tim Storms his voice goes lower and it is so dam cut
Kirstie's eyeliner. Can we talk about it?!?!?
Annie G. It's graceful, I mean she looks so gorgeous with it.. 😍
Avi was so adorable. I wouldn't have thought of anything to say if Tim frickin' Storms just appeared right in front of me.
I'm sure this is the show where he reaches the f#1 singing Natural Disaster xD
Am I the only one who finds it extremely adorable that they pray before shows? It's so cute, they look like one big family during thanksgiving or like a sports team...I can't it's so cute.
it makes me really happy they do and when they're not afraid to tall about it
+Kaleigh Morse *talk
I'll be honest, I'm an atheist and I still find it adorable.
@@kalemjade5258 🦳🦳🕐
5:28 'You just feel like a superstar.' You are.
Aw they pray before their show that's so sweet
Pentatonix prays before their shows... I know that's just a smart thing to do, but... Scott leading it? That's... really admirable. Putting in a video that they're praying is even MORE admirable.
Avi fangirling. He understands how we feel.
Tim Storms walks in Mitch: "WAIT I HAVEN'T PRATICED MY LOW VOICE IN A WHILE. HOLD UP" Mitch: in lower voice "How's it going? Mitch. Nice to meet you" Tim Storms: I understand its hard Mitch
Haha
+HauntetGamerTheBlobfish I see u blobfish
ahahahahahah avi's hair at the end and Scott's inability to speak ahahahahahah so funny
"You just feel like a superstar." Kirstie, one of the things I love about you is that you don't seem to realize that you ARE a superstar! And I love it that they pray. I've caught glimpses of them in other videos, standing in a huddle; great to know that it's for prayer.
Another thing I love is that AJ Gibboney also wears a wool cap like Avi's!
Scott is like the residing chairman of the stutter convention XD love them all somaj
Kirstie is so cute...
If I ever get to see PTX live I will be like one of those girl at a Beatles concert who is screaming and crying and then passes out and has to be carried off. No hyperbole. I'm obsessed with you guys.
i would definitly be that person too :P
I'm seeing their show in a few weeks and I get to meet them at the meet-and-greet and I am seriously afraid of fainting or throwing up or doing something of that embarrassing nature.
Same I would have as Kirstie said " I would hae axiety and stuff and pass out " im at a very young age so i cant spell axiety *oops i did it again*
Kristina Cyr ughhhh stahhp so jealous
Patty Arenson Don't worry, I didn't faint or throw up, but I did try to push through the pull door and accidentally ran into it. Luckily they didn't see it!
i'm crying at the ending with scott omg lol
Keep doing these experiences. Brings another dimension to an already amazing experience
Mitch's neck roll at 3:29 is everything.
OML Kirstie at the beginning with her Texan accent. XD
Avi fangirling is the best
Hi pentatonix,I don't know if your seeing this, but when you met Tim Storms,he is my second cousin, and I loved your reactions when you met him,the other day we had dinner with his brother.Luv u pentatonix🤗😎😙
I love how Kevin is so passionate about his cello.
Beyoncé***
+HauntetGamerTheBlobfish lol
Avi's eyes at 3:03 - 3:05! I can't stop laughing! Yeah, Avi, now you know how it feels! I'm just...bop.
"I hope the fans love it..." Kevin we will always love your music!
Avi's reaction to his special visitor!!! He's so CUTE I LOVE HIM SO MUCH
8:57 hahahaahah omg scott i cant
Did I hear Avi say "Frick off" once he saw the Say Something set cuuuuuuuuuuz if so I'm laughing a lot
Ya he did 😊😊
oh avi !! come on avi!! why so perfect!! man!!
For the life of me, I still cannot understand how people can listen to music (especially music produced with such skill and nuance, like PTX doing their Daft Punk cover *LIVE*) while screaming their heads off.
One would think that people will be so hushed, straining to hear the pure skill in the interweaving harmonies, glorying in the music... instead of going "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! OH, MY GOD!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" all throughout the performance.
The impression I'm getting is that they're not actually _appreciating_ the music so much as trying to outdo each other in demonstrating just how great their _appreciation_ is (to whom, I don't know... people in the next building, perhaps?).
Just because their method of appreciating doesn't match up with yours doesn't mean it's invalid. Let the people express their excitement.
inlovewithJLT Just because it is a method of appreciation doesn't mean it is _valid_ in this case. People screaming at a boxing match, or at a ball game yes. People screaming at a _music_ venue, I'm not so sure.
I mean, really, they're not even listening. They're just yelling. Like when people go "la-la-la-la-la-la" when they don't want to listen to someone and drown out the sounds from their mouth.
It's like when somebody gets to eat a meal cooked by a famous chef and instead of eating it they just yell "GAAAAAAAAH!!! OH MY GOD!!! JAMIE!!!"-they saw the meal being cooked, yes... they smell the food being cooked, yes... but that they're not even tasting it because they are _so busy_ showing their "appreciation" just screams "POSER" to me.
Hal Guerrero I've never been to a concert where the crowd drowned out the performance. This isn't like a musical theatre or symphony performance where quiet attention is the norm; the sound design of these types of concerts is created with the knowledge that fans will be screaming.
The fact that you care so much about policing how other people react to a performance when the performers themselves are clearly loving the audience reactions says a lot about your ego.
inlovewithJLT You misunderstand me. I know that with the sound amplification, a yelling crowd won't drown out the sound. What I can't understand is how a yelling person can listen _while_ yelling.
Nice try with the accusation of me trying to "police" others-no where did I say these sort of people should be banned or stopped... just that I cannot understand how people ostensibly come to enjoy "music" and not _listen_ to it. But since I know nothing about you, I can't say anything about the state of _your_ ego.
Hal Guerrero I was just at a PTX concert last night and I spent a good deal of my time yelling. Here's my theory. When people are screaming, then it's a little more difficult to hear what's going on. But people don't scream all that much during a piece. What they do, rather, is to sing along very loudly. Maybe this doesn't hold for everyone, but when I sang along during Daft Punk or Hey Momma, I couldn't hear myself at all, I could only hear them. (Of course, this wouldn't be true for quieter pieces, and indeed during Say Something and Run To You, the crowd was really silent.)
They need to have a reality show!
I freaked out when Tim Storms walked in! I've wanted them to meet and talk and I had no idea it had already happened XD
Avi fanboyed so hard. This is proof that he is human😵
oh my god yes! Avi and Tim in the same room, my feels just came bursting out of my chest!!!!! I love the amazing video, thanx guys
HE CALLS HIS CELLO HIS BEYONCE???? OMG THAT IS PERFECT
It would be even better if he called the bow for his cello Sasha Fierce lol!
Wonder how Scott and Mitch reacted to that :D
Scott at the end.. lol :)
Guys, I love you.
Ryan thank you for doing the job you do and bringing more life to PTX. Watching this makes it feel like they are real people and not just a group of singers. Can't wait for next week.
Kirstie is by far the prettiest thing I have ever seen :)
Lovely how you call her a "thing" :D
its my show!!! Also Tim Storms being there was so awesome!
Don't know what else to say except for bop.
2:55 avi you're adorable hahaha
I love this series!
Over a thousand likes so far with zero dislikes. Shows how great they are
When Kevin plays the cello I get chills:)
And Kev PLEEAASE don't ever stop using the cello with PTX!!! Love from another cello-enthusiast ;)
mitch' s shot right before he went on stage: angle game strong
AHH Kirstie is too cute. The show was AMAZING. 'Say Something' is stunning. Just perfect. Looking forward to next Friday, as always! ;)
We need a PTX Tour DVD! Pretty pretty please! x
I absolutely love that they're making these videos
yeah, they are so transparent.
As days are going by, Kirstie gets more beautiful =) So pleasant
I loved her hair color. Holy wow.
How can five people be so adorable and talented all at the same time? It just ain't fair.
OMG, the moment when the crowd started chanting "PTX! PTX!" and the lights started flashing, and our guys started singing "Daft Punk"! I got a genuine adrenaline rush - back 45 years to my stage crew days, curtain up, heart speeding up, breathing hard ... .
I LIVE IN SPRINGFIELD,MO! Springfield, Missouri FTW!
They're yelling at us, in a nice way. aw
When AJ was crying after Say Something that was so sweet!
Absolutely loving this series. Always waiting for the next video! The show looks so amazing guys, really wish I could have seen it.
Keep doing, keep searching, creating....
i love it when kevin plays his chello! the cover of say something is just amazing and radioactive with lindsey stirling is one of my favorite songs of all time! :D
Awww Mitch :(
3:30 DIVA!!!
OMG! The end! I LOLed because happens to me all the time!!! XD
Love this VLOG!!! You're all amazing!!!
Great "Summertime Sadness" at 8:23!!! Pentatonix, you're amazing! Guys, don't change!
This is my favorite cover of say something! So beautiful!
My theatre group prays before each performance too!
ALWAYS SHIVERS at the beginning, with the crowd chanting and the lights... WOAAAH XD
I know it's a little random but I think Kevin and Lindsey Stirling (sorry ifbi misspelled) would be an amazing and adorable couple. They're both so talented!
Man!! I look forward to these each week and you guys are so awesome for giving us the #PTXperience!! I loved the concept of the Say Something video and I love everything about I have seen/heard about the tour so far and I cannot wait to see you all in a few weeks!!
Thank you for sharing you experience with us!! Love seeing behind the scenes!
Scott could not BE more adorable in the end segment!!
i appreciate this BTS/vlogs so much. For someone who lives on the other side of the world, watching this is as close as attending the show. Thank you for this! Also the weather is bipolar these days, take care of yourselves guys.
he calls his cello beyonce aw that made my day
One wish goal in my life... Almost like Avi meeting the world's lowest bass, i want to meet and challenge Kevin in beat boxing if Pentatonix ever comes to Philadelphia... But then again, it is just a wish
Want to know why my love for Kirstie won't go away? The beginning of this video explains everything
i love kirstie she is everything and I'm a fangirl of her
"I really hope the fans like Say Something" ARE YOU KIDDING??? I LOVE IT!! The video was amazing and I bought the song on iTunes. I probably listen to it like 5-10 times a day.....SO beautiful. Good job, guys.
I love that sweater Scott
Absolutely beautiful! The harmonics are outstanding and your vocals are mesmerizing. I've been following you guys since the beginning and each song/cover you keep raising the bar!
So much Kirstie! Yay 💖
AGHHHH THE OPENING JUST SENT SHIVERS DOWN MY SPINE! amahzinf
Thanks for really letting us be in your lives. Love you guys.

9:00 - 9:09 had me DYING!!! Lmfao Scott is hilarious!! :D
So special, you are having the adventure of a lifetime and letting us see a little piece of it.
The last clip of Scoot is what I live for
Scoot
Scoot? 😂😂
I was wondering why the Say Something video was so stiff, but now I understand why! It's not bad, I think its a cool idea
We do the same thing at our dance center - we do a bit production every year in a huge theater in our town, and before each show we go behind the curtain in a huge circle and pray. It's really cool with, like, 50 or so people on the stage all holding hands.
