it's not even Hertz... it's like 0.189Hz Tim Storms is ridiculous, they should have invited him on stage to sing bass with Avi. Can anyone say 6th member of PTX
Am I the only one who finds it extremely adorable that they pray before shows? It's so cute, they look like one big family during thanksgiving or like a sports team...I can't it's so cute.
Pentatonix prays before their shows... I know that's just a smart thing to do, but... Scott leading it? That's... really admirable. Putting in a video that they're praying is even MORE admirable.
Tim Storms walks in Mitch: "WAIT I HAVEN'T PRATICED MY LOW VOICE IN A WHILE. HOLD UP" Mitch: in lower voice "How's it going? Mitch. Nice to meet you" Tim Storms: I understand its hard Mitch
"You just feel like a superstar." Kirstie, one of the things I love about you is that you don't seem to realize that you ARE a superstar! And I love it that they pray. I've caught glimpses of them in other videos, standing in a huddle; great to know that it's for prayer. Another thing I love is that AJ Gibboney also wears a wool cap like Avi's!
For the life of me, I still cannot understand how people can listen to music (especially music produced with such skill and nuance, like PTX doing their Daft Punk cover *LIVE*) while screaming their heads off. One would think that people will be so hushed, straining to hear the pure skill in the interweaving harmonies, glorying in the music... instead of going "GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! OH, MY GOD!!! GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!" all throughout the performance. The impression I'm getting is that they're not actually _appreciating_ the music so much as trying to outdo each other in demonstrating just how great their _appreciation_ is (to whom, I don't know... people in the next building, perhaps?).
inlovewithJLT Just because it is a method of appreciation doesn't mean it is _valid_ in this case. People screaming at a boxing match, or at a ball game yes. People screaming at a _music_ venue, I'm not so sure. I mean, really, they're not even listening. They're just yelling. Like when people go "la-la-la-la-la-la" when they don't want to listen to someone and drown out the sounds from their mouth. It's like when somebody gets to eat a meal cooked by a famous chef and instead of eating it they just yell "GAAAAAAAAH!!! OH MY GOD!!! JAMIE!!!"-they saw the meal being cooked, yes... they smell the food being cooked, yes... but that they're not even tasting it because they are _so busy_ showing their "appreciation" just screams "POSER" to me.
Hal Guerrero I've never been to a concert where the crowd drowned out the performance. This isn't like a musical theatre or symphony performance where quiet attention is the norm; the sound design of these types of concerts is created with the knowledge that fans will be screaming. The fact that you care so much about policing how other people react to a performance when the performers themselves are clearly loving the audience reactions says a lot about your ego.
inlovewithJLT You misunderstand me. I know that with the sound amplification, a yelling crowd won't drown out the sound. What I can't understand is how a yelling person can listen _while_ yelling. Nice try with the accusation of me trying to "police" others-no where did I say these sort of people should be banned or stopped... just that I cannot understand how people ostensibly come to enjoy "music" and not _listen_ to it. But since I know nothing about you, I can't say anything about the state of _your_ ego.
Hal Guerrero I was just at a PTX concert last night and I spent a good deal of my time yelling. Here's my theory. When people are screaming, then it's a little more difficult to hear what's going on. But people don't scream all that much during a piece. What they do, rather, is to sing along very loudly. Maybe this doesn't hold for everyone, but when I sang along during Daft Punk or Hey Momma, I couldn't hear myself at all, I could only hear them. (Of course, this wouldn't be true for quieter pieces, and indeed during Say Something and Run To You, the crowd was really silent.)
If I ever get to see PTX live I will be like one of those girl at a Beatles concert who is screaming and crying and then passes out and has to be carried off. No hyperbole. I'm obsessed with you guys.
I'm seeing their show in a few weeks and I get to meet them at the meet-and-greet and I am seriously afraid of fainting or throwing up or doing something of that embarrassing nature.
Patty Arenson Don't worry, I didn't faint or throw up, but I did try to push through the pull door and accidentally ran into it. Luckily they didn't see it!
Hi pentatonix,I don't know if your seeing this, but when you met Tim Storms,he is my second cousin, and I loved your reactions when you met him,the other day we had dinner with his brother.Luv u pentatonix🤗😎😙
OMG, the moment when the crowd started chanting "PTX! PTX!" and the lights started flashing, and our guys started singing "Daft Punk"! I got a genuine adrenaline rush - back 45 years to my stage crew days, curtain up, heart speeding up, breathing hard ... .
I know it's a little random but I think Kevin and Lindsey Stirling (sorry ifbi misspelled) would be an amazing and adorable couple. They're both so talented!
Ryan thank you for doing the job you do and bringing more life to PTX. Watching this makes it feel like they are real people and not just a group of singers. Can't wait for next week.
i love it when kevin plays his chello! the cover of say something is just amazing and radioactive with lindsey stirling is one of my favorite songs of all time! :D

Avi fangirling was maybe the cutest thing I've ever seen ever?
The sound of two guys with really deep voices talking to eachother is so calming.
"how am i supposed to sing a bass line with him out there- i- *bob*."
-_avi kaplan, 2014_
He said Bop not Bob lol
...i knew that...
...its bop
Avi- "The crowd were yelling at us...but in a nice way!" 😊😂✨
glittergal when did he said?? I can't find it 🤔🤔
I thought Avi said that "It's not notes anymore, it's... hurts."
Then I realized he meant Hertz. :P
ahhhh that makes much more sense!! i thought the same haha =p #non-nativeenglishproblems ._.
it's not even Hertz... it's like 0.189Hz Tim Storms is ridiculous, they should have invited him on stage to sing bass with Avi. Can anyone say 6th member of PTX
John Morton penta actually means five
yes I understand this but to feature the worlds lowest bass in a show would be awesome
hahahah yeah
And that's when a celebrity becomes a fangirl 😂😂
hahahahaha the avi fangirling over tim storms!
HE CALLS HIS CELLO BEYONCÉ
he's adorable
It's because of the curves
Okay! It's official! I'm naming my cello Kevin.
When Mitch sees Tim Storms his voice goes lower and it is so dam cut
Literally, the fact that they pray before every show and say thanks is just so...adorable and I am smiling so much. They're so grateful
5:28 'You just feel like a superstar.' You are.
Am I the only one who finds it extremely adorable that they pray before shows? It's so cute, they look like one big family during thanksgiving or like a sports team...I can't it's so cute.
it makes me really happy they do and when they're not afraid to tall about it
+Kaleigh Morse *talk
I'll be honest, I'm an atheist and I still find it adorable.

Just because their method of appreciating doesn't match up with yours doesn't mean it's invalid. Let the people express their excitement.
inlovewithJLT Just because it is a method of appreciation doesn't mean it is _valid_ in this case. People screaming at a boxing match, or at a ball game yes. People screaming at a _music_ venue, I'm not so sure.
