Recently I just stopped to think that I'm only going to live once so at least I'm going to live without caring about others and doing the things I like, but I know it's not so easy for everyone to think like that. I agree with you and I can kind of make a connection to the infamous American dream where people literally chased the idea of success by moving to America. I feel like that was the old school version, and we are repeating something similar but possibly worse version of that, whereas back then they really wanted to live in a better condition.
The fact that talking about Dragon's Dogma 2 is considered old news when it's only been out for a few months is fucking wild to me. < says the person who's basically only played PS2 games for the past few months. But yeah, 7:40 I'd kick whoever's saying that's dicks in if they told me to stop talking about the games I wanted to play or the things I wanted to talk about just because of SEO. That mindset can also kind of come from, dare I say it, a place of privilege--i.e. GAMES COST MONEY and some people don't have the cash or the will to pay $70 for new games. It's just kind of a dick thing to do tbh. I just like it more when a creator I like just starts talking about random fucking bullshit they like. The end product is usually more fun that way, rather than feeling like you're OBLIGATED to do X amounts of Y things in Z time for A B C audiences or whatever the hecc it is people do these days.
Yeah, pretty much the same response from me. I know they didn't meant anything malicious by it though. They just genuinely thought that's how you make it big and have never been in the creator space before. And oh yeah, big same on that last point. Feels more natural and human

These videos you make are interesting, i like the simple thumbnails and the thoughtful titles. This channel, as you have said, is based off the weekly slap* which is a good jumping off point but i think you should attempt some light written structuring before hand. Just to say this again, this video was a good watch and you dont have to listen to me but i think you would produce a better video in terms of personal enjoyment and greater audience resonance if there was just a little more articulation and order. Commentary has been around since youtube has existed in some way across almost every aspect of human interest. This is all to say dont be afraid of experimenting a little. For example: I do not really know anything about monster hunter yet this was a entertaining video to watch, i just had no idea what was happening on screen, it was cool to look at nonetheless. Perhaps you could quickly explain the hunt after introducing the topic of discussion? Good stuff though
