Nice to see a video about what is being built, not a 15 minute intro about how cool you are or your sponsors. Just a guy doing some beautiful work. I appreciate it.
I watch a lot of these videos on UA-cam, this is one of my favourites. You’re a master and your attention to detail is phenomenal. 11/10 for the effort you put into this I can tell it was a big job.
Loved the video. The breadboard ends were "explained" very well through the video. I also love the fact that I'm not the only one that wears flip flops in the shop.
I get a lot of crap for my flip flops. :) I also put out a second video about the dovetails with more explanation for those that wanted it. ua-cam.com/video/R2y5aDdQsgk/v-deo.html
Beautiful job. The thing I envy when watching these sorts of clips is the serious kit people have in these workshops from planers, huge belt sanders to sash clamps that reach form here to Mars and also the quantity of good timber they have access to! It was a pleasure to watch.
I still get envious of the same thing.. I'm not sure that you're ever satisfied with what you have. I've been running a sawmill for a couple years and now that I've got stacks of slabs starting to become dry I'm looking at my 13" planer and trying to figure out how I can make a serious upgrade.
Ty, I have been looking for examples on how to do proper bread board ends. Keep coming back to your video because everything I see you do makes complete sense and no corners are being cut. Really nice work. Top notch quality.
Thanks! I have a lot more footage of the breadboard ends that was cut out that I plan to use for a breadboard end and drawbored joinery tutorial. I really need to get to editing some of my video.
I would love to see it. I just started putting up some videos and I had no idea how long a good edit takes. Hopefully will get easier with time. Fun to do though.
first of all: love the video...great work! I'm just getting started (as a hobby) and I have a friend who wants me to make them a table like this (although not out of walnut!). Here's my question, why did you plane the ends that are going to be glued together? Aren't they already square from the cuts on the table saw?
I have too many great people that I subscribe to that I refuse to add any more unless I unsubscribe from someone else... I had seen some of your stuff posted on the group and I just hadn't checked you out til now... So someone (I won't say who) just got bumped... Beautiful table!
beautiful table ....the joinery is great...i just wonder though ...what part of it is a farm table? it looks more like a piece of art...i was just today at the potery barn store in pasadena ca. they have a table for sale for $2800 and the top is very uneven... the joinery is not that great...on top of that it is pine...
Oh, and thank you for creating such great content. It's coming up on the FIFTH month of the shutdown in Michigan, and I went from having no aspirations of what to do to working 50+ hours per week woodworking, teaching myself new techniques, and learning video production for my church. People like you keep me motivated.
That's a great looking table Ty. through the whole video , the flip flops stood out the most. I'm in flip flops every time I'm in the shop unless there is snow.
Thanks David! I've got some other videos in progress and other footage I need to edit. I'm currently working on a similar style table but it utilizes different joinery methods and a metal farmhouse/trestle style base.
Watching this video really made me appreciate how much this IS art. The precision and dedication that went into this piece, I would imagine, would put it up there with some of the great artworks. Very nicely done.
Beautiful, plus built to last a lifetime. And to think, IKEA is the 2nd largest retailer of "DISPOSABLE" furniture in the U.S. It's mind boggling. I need to get more tools.👍👍
Now THAT is a nice table, quality build all the way through. Every single joint line was so precise; I'm very impressed with your skill. Hope you got paid richly for this one!
Thanks Mike! The breadboard ends wasn't what killed me time wise it was 24 mortise and tenons between all of the legs with the table and two benches.. UGH
Ty Moser the standard UA-cam "breadboard" seems to be 5 Dominos and a butt joint. It's not a real breadboard with the tongue and groove. How are you liking the drum sander? I think it's the next machine for me.
I like the drum sander but I did have some nice deep grooves on the first couple pieces I passed through. I think I got used to my planer having the rollers that do a great job at pushing the material down before and after the blades. I had to get a little better at providing in & out feed support.
I"m loving this chanel. This was such a peaceful experience. Its a nice break from the in your face tactics of a lot of other youtubers. Keep it up Ty.
I am beyond impressed. I sat here with such enthusiasm, and enlightenment. You have such an incredible eye for this. Your craftsmen skills are where I would love to be. You are amazing, and I am inspired by you. As someone else spoke, it was very relaxing. Thank you.
Thanks Rone! If you have some time, check out my other table video similarly edited and let me know what you think. I've been trying to figure out why it hasn't done nearly as well as this one. ua-cam.com/video/a7n6p6XovX8/v-deo.html Thanks!
Thanks Jason! If you have a moment, check out my other table build. I tried to edit it in a similar style and I believe it's an interesting build but the video just never did well and I'm trying to figure out why. ua-cam.com/video/a7n6p6XovX8/v-deo.html Thanks!!!
That reminds me of a comment the other day. Something to the effect of "This reminds me of my day job sometimes" and when I asked what his day job was he replied "surgeon". 😂
What a gorgeous table and a boat load of beautiful wood. You sir are quality craftsman. Your short video belies the amount of time you put into making this piece.
Yea, the 10 minutes of video really doesn't do the amount of time spent on this project justice.. I might get a few more videos out of it though. Maybe one with more detail on the breadboard ends with draw bored joinery etc..
I have seen people do breadboard ends that don't really cinch up tight to the table top. Can you do a video talking about how to do that correctly for a tight fit? Thanks!
Ty this is your best video i have seen on your channel. I like the casting very much, but this one is the icing on the cake.......now to go watch it again...
By far the best video I've seen yet on building a table. Good camera angles, laid back music, and a damn fine job on that table. That was some serious craftsmanship.
Nice to see a video about what is being built, not a 15 minute intro about how cool you are or your sponsors. Just a guy doing some beautiful work. I appreciate it.
Damn dude. You do not fuck around. Especially with those planes. Nice work.
Very well done. Table and video production. Double thanks for civilized music. Mike
Thanks
Absolutely agree inre the music.
You can tell when someone loves their craft. Excellent work.

Beautiful
Such attention to detail and great care taken - a true craftsman at work. Thanks for the video.
From one woodworker to another... beautiful work. Well done!
Outstanding. I'll give it a look.
I love slippers in the shop! Everything from woodworking to welding! Can't beat the comfort!
Beautiful job. The thing I envy when watching these sorts of clips is the serious kit people have in these workshops from planers, huge belt sanders to sash clamps that reach form here to Mars and also the quantity of good timber they have access to! It was a pleasure to watch.

Wow you are a true craftsmen. Thank you for posting this!
Thanks David!
So calming to watch
did i just see elongated draw doweling with ebony? that is top notch Ty.
;) Thanks Mike

Really nice work. That is one solid table. It will probably last about 300+ years. Thanks for posting this video.
Thanks!
Amazing craftsmanship, the editing was perfect, relaxing and soothing just as watching the woodworking is👍
it’s nice to see a true craftsman at work. well done!
Can't believe I haven't seen this sooner. Beautiful work man! Really nice!!
Thanks Chris!
Ty Moser you are absolutely artist and craftsman!
A Glimpse Inside w

all i can say is wow what a beautiful production and build Ty superb work on the edit and table my friend
Thanks Patrick!
It's easy to see your heart that you put into that piece. That's what woodworking is all about.
I need that reverse plane at 0:46. Seems like a tool every clumsy woodworker should have ! :D
I think they stopped making them after WWII but you can usually pick one up on ebay for pretty cheap.
:)
Ah ah ah ! I'll start searching right away, maybe I'll grt a good package deal with some skills too. Great project and video, btw.
Thanks for the heads up. I set up an eBay alert for reverse planes. I can't wait to pick one up.
first of all: love the video...great work! I'm just getting started (as a hobby) and I have a friend who wants me to make them a table like this (although not out of walnut!). The project came out very nice. The production of the video was just as good. Nice work. Like your approach.
Thanks Jeffery!
That was really a spectacular job. Congratulations.
Thanks for taking the time to do it the right way
Art, craftsmanship, and skill!
Awesome!!!
I like that you showed the tenons not fitting the first try. helps me realize youtube woodworkers are just like me
Thanks Bryan. If I didn't cut my tenons oversize and then plane them down they would probably always be too small.
Absolutely beautiful from start to finish!
Art ! Artist !! Masterpiece !!!
i cannot tel you in enough words how cool this video is!
Thanks Ben!
Loved your video; no talking; good show of details. Fantastic table! Beautiful!!!!!
This was incredible. I like the music choice a lot, most videos have some needlessly upbeat bg music that's way to loud. Table was also beautiful
Incredible
Absolutely flawless workmanship sir.
Incredible job! Great build!!
@Jim Here are some great woodworking plans if you're interested - WoodSun.xyz
Indeed you can, he is awesome, neat and precise.
Fantastic work! Too many people make non functioning breadboards. Really good to see and watch.
Thanks Miles!
I quit my wood working after watch this guy's. He's too damn good. I'm going back to being a thug.
Lol awesome comment
LMAO. You don't need to be the best at anything, you just have to make sure you make time for things you love the most.
Clay Alchemist .
same here... hammered my table to pieces... lol
Now there's a skilled craftsman. Respect big guy.
I have too many great people that I subscribe to that I refuse to add any more unless I unsubscribe from someone else... I had seen some of your stuff posted on the group and I just hadn't checked you out til now... So someone (I won't say who) just got bumped...
Beautiful table!
LOL. Thanks Dave!
Dave Strain Right on! I did the exact same thing!
It's not only a table, it's a Master's work.
I was so into the details that I forgot what you were giving life to....
Can watch these type of videos all day!
5 dislikes are from people who don't own a biscuit joiner haha . nice job i remember this build , turned out nice
Just imagine if I used a Festool Domino. :)
Or for him wearing flip flops haha
Beautiful table and benches. Loved watching your style of craftsmanship. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Jon!

I see the same kind of stuff up in the mountains of Arizona. Juniper furniture for ridiculous prices.
Hello!
I'm watching from Russia.
Very fine and filigree work!
You are a Master of your craft!
VERY VERY NICE.........10++++
MY FAVORITE WOOD IN THE WORLD. AMAZING BROTHER.
Beautiful craftsmanship!! I don't think there is a wood that finishes out better than walnut.
Walnut is one of my favorites
Came back to watch it again. Fantastic work. Beautiful table. Love the All Day Every Day plane shirt.
Thanks Luke! I need to get more of that shirt because I love it and it's already starting to wear out.
Oh, and thank you for creating such great content. Pleasure to watch quality being produced. Awesome
That table is beautiful
That is a work of art. Simple, yet detailed.
You are an artist ,young man.
That's a great looking table Ty. through the whole video , the flip flops stood out the most. I'm in flip flops every time I'm in the shop unless there is snow.
Thanks Phillip! I don't get snow so I almost always have flip flops on unless I'm going to my day job.
Outstanding job brother. Very nice details.
This was the most peaceful and heartwarming table build I've ever seen.
Thank you
Amazing work. True Craftsman. You should sell these plans, and continue making videos.
Thanks David! I've got some other videos in progress and other footage I need to edit. I'm currently working on a similar style table but it utilizes different joinery methods and a metal farmhouse/trestle style base.
SUPER, SUPER. VERY VERY NICE. ...10++
Love that Lie Nielsen No62 low angle jack plane
agreed
Watching this video really made me appreciate how much this IS art. The precision and dedication that went into this piece, I would imagine, would put it up there with some of the great artworks. Very nicely done.
Thanks Eric! Many people don't know how much time and effort really go into some of these things so it's nice to show.
Beautiful, plus built to last a lifetime. And to think, IKEA is the 2nd largest retailer of "DISPOSABLE" furniture in the U.S. It's mind boggling. I need to get more tools.👍👍
I like to go to IKEA and wander around their maze. They've got good ideas on storage and design but yea.. totally disposable.
Such a relaxing video of some super AWESOME work!
Thanks Sadie!
A labor of love! You are a true artist and craftsman!
Incredible craftsmanship. Very nice watching someone who really takes pride in their work. Excellent job on the video editing too.
Thanks Darin!
Beautiful table! Your shop is soooo organized! Good for you. Beautiful workmanship and great taste in music. Thank you for sharing
Beautiful table, beautiful wood and a very well done video. Thanks
That is awesome, Bro! I have to make a dining table for our new home. You have definitely inspired me!
Thanks and good to hear!
Now THAT is a nice table, quality build all the way through. Every single joint line was so precise; I'm very impressed with your skill. Hope you got paid richly for this one!
Watching this was really relaxing. The amount of skill you showed on this was pretty amazing! I really like this.
Thanks Alex!
Very nice. Also, it's nice to see someone take the time to do real breadboard ends.
Thanks Mike! The breadboard ends wasn't what killed me time wise it was 24 mortise and tenons between all of the legs with the table and two benches.. UGH

What a deep rich beautiful walnut. I love the breadboard ends. It looks primitive and modern all at once. I want this table and benches!
Simply beautiful and detailed work. Thank you for sharing your great craftsmanship.
I"m loving this chanel. This was such a peaceful experience. Its a nice break from the in your face tactics of a lot of other youtubers. Keep it up Ty.
Thanks Kyle!
Now that’s a thing of beauty! Could you imagine the things we could build if money was no object!!!
This was really pleasant to watch. Beautiful table, too
Thanks kari!
Wow. Beautiful craftsmanship.
Awesome craftsmanship. Glad to see I'm not the only one who wears sandals when woodworking
I've received a lot of feedback from the safety policy over the years about those sandals. :)
@@TyMoser Funny thing is I'm a Safety Manager but I wear mine in the summer. Don't really have a shop but a big back porch.
I am beyond impressed. I sat here with such enthusiasm, and enlightenment. You have such an incredible eye for this. Your craftsmen skills are where I would love to be. You are amazing, and I am inspired by you. As someone else spoke, it was very relaxing. Thank you.
Beautiful table. ...well done.
wow a real artist I heard does not matter what you do in life just be good at it and this guy is just that
Hands down the best farm table vid and one of my fav woodworking vids to date. Outstanding work and vid editing.
Thanks Rone!
If you have some time, check out my other table video similarly edited and let me know what you think. I've been trying to figure out why it hasn't done nearly as well as this one.

Thanks!
Wow!! Great job! I hope to have half your talent one day!
Epic. This is my major goal, to complete a beauty just like this one day for our home.
When you do, send me some pictures!
Thank you,for not saying a word!
Beaitiful craftsmanship! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Easily the very best build video I’ve watched in far too long. Every aspect of your chosen edit was interesting, relaxing and entertaining. Well done.
Thanks Jason! If you have a moment, check out my other table build. I tried to edit it in a similar style and I believe it's an interesting build but the video just never did well and I'm trying to figure out why.

Thanks!!!
Видно сразу человек с просто золотыми руками.Очень все исполняет с огромной душой и знанием своего дола.Мое уважение.Класс!!!
Truly a wood surgeon!!!!
That reminds me of a comment the other day. Something to the effect of "This reminds me of my day job sometimes" and when I asked what his day job was he replied "surgeon". 😂
@@TyMoser seriously though. Really nice table. Really nice construction! Great video.
What a wonderful work and lovely song!
Excellent video; the progression from rough cut (reclaimed?) boards to finished project was inspirational and the music made it .... well very Zen.
Thanks Mike! Not reclaimed but definitely rough cut.
Beautiful work and great vid, thanks for not ruining it by talking.

Dude! Motivation! Thank you
Beautiful, and so rewarding
Perfect music choice. Fantastic build!!!! Inspiration for me. Thanks!
Excellent work!!! I can only hope I can one day have as much skill. Bravo!
Looks great. Thanks for filming and sharing the process.
Thanks for watching Nick!
By far the best video I've seen yet on building a table. Good camera angles, laid back music, and a damn fine job on that table. That was some serious craftsmanship.
Thanks Shaggydoo43!
That is one beautiful piece of work. You make it seem so easy to accomplish.
Thanks! The video just makes it look that way. It's hard to cram 80 hours of work into a 10 minute video...
