I like how the comedy is still essentially following the important plot points of the show, but adding in jokes. Like if someone didn't know dragon ball they could learn it from this and be like, "you remember Bulma's racist dad?" People are like "what are you talking about?" Then they discuss the show about bombs in Androids and they're like "yeah I remember". Then "remember the dad said he wanted to do that to bulma but the mom said no?" "What are you talking about? You're making this up." "No remember he was kidnapping dozens of orphans and the dad was like that's actually a good idea." "I remember Dr. Gero doing that but not bulma's dad." "No he didn't do it, he just said it was a good idea when bulma said it." "I don't remember that, I think you're mixing up another show or something." "Yeah remember he's saying stuff and bulma is like you can't hold Trunks if you're going to be saying this kind of stuff."
