the meaning of the song, for me, its all about standing up recovering from their heartbreaks and getting revenge to those (haters/antis). and about the chorus YG is known for their EDM, its a shade for those haters telling to them "look at you now look at me" meaning look at them we are the girls you used to hate but we recovered and better than you, and about "look up to the sky its a bird its a plane" its a metaphor about them flying because they are successful. In short HYLT is a diss track for their haters, the song is a metaphoric song.
This song is killer. It’s really different from their other songs, and the beat is so crunchy and it has such a nice bounce when the chorus hits. This song has this sort of “sonic brand and identity” that you would recognize from Blackpink and from their producer’s style. I was surprised how the chorus beat changed and how the bridge beat was SO different from the rest of the song. And because of the turn and
