How to reach -
Lets first discuss where's Tobermory is located and how we can reach there, well it is located at the northern tip of the Bruce Peninsula which is northwest of Toronto. If you are travelling from Greater Toronto area (GTA), The cheapest option would be by driving, it is around 295 KM away from Toronto and will take around 3 hours 30 minutes. If you flying from different province then Toronto international airport would be the closest one.
We drove from Mississauga and it took us around 3 hours 15 minutes. We have started early in the morning at around 6 am and took a break at Tims and reached Tobermory at 10 am..
What to do -
Our first stop was Little Cove and you also include in your list, entry and parking is free but you need to reach little early as the parking is limited or else have to wait in line. Awesome green water with rugged shoreline, dramatic views from various hiking trails. The color of water was so beautiful that I couldn't hold myself for long and jumped into the water.
Then hiked on the cliff and enjoyed the stunning view of Georgian bay.
Our second stop was Fathom Five National Marine Park, it was just 10 minutes drive from little cove, you will get road side miter parkin to park your car.
There are multiple hiking trails to explore we took the dunks point hiking. hiking through the dense forest was itself an awesome experience . When we reached at the lookout point the mesmerizing view took our all tiredness away..
Then we moved to big Tub harbor, it was only a 7 minutes drive but getting the parking was little challenging, somehow we managed to get one.
This is the part of Lake Huron that seeks to protect and display shipwrecks and lighthouses, and conserve freshwater ecosystems.
There are multiple things you can explore, the lighthouse or can go for scuba driving to experience the historic shipwrecks.. The water is so clear that you can view the shipwrecks by kayaking as well
The best is yet to come...
Our final stop for that day was The Grotto. Awwww what a place it was, I would say the best place in Bruce Peninsula national park.
Like to share important tips, You must reserve your Grotto parking through online will in advance. We have had to reserve for us a month before. Reservation link -

Tips: Pack your food and drinks with you that will save you that will save your time and reduce the over all budget.
Once you reach the park the car at P1 parking lot located in the Cyprus Lake area. Start hiking on Bruce Trail, it will take you to Indian head Cove , white bolder beach. There are lots of cliffs from where you can jump. But be very careful and measure the depth of water before you jump. Guess what again I went into the water. It was cold but I enjoyed swimming.
Then we continued our hiking or I would say it was sort of climbing to reach the Grotto. We were just amazed to see the serene beauty, scenic cave containing a pool of blue water. Spent some good time over there.
Then hiked back to the parking spot. It was overall 1 hour 30 minutes of hike.
After spending an awesome day we drove 90 minutes to reach Port Elgin and stayed there.. ..
